"The hotel's location is excellent, less than 2km from JR Hiroshima Station. You can take a bus for 240 yen, and it accepts Icoca cards. It's also only about 2km to the Peace Memorial Park, which is easily walkable. Self check-in is available on the ground floor. The room wasn't huge, but for a triple room with an extra bed, there was still enough space to open our luggage. The bedding was clean and tidy, and comfortable to sleep on."

"This hotel isn't expensive, but the service is excellent. They offer complimentary breakfast and dinner, and there's a hot spring bath on the top floor, which makes it well worth staying. Getting there from the train station can be tricky if you just follow navigation, as it takes a big detour. However, if the hotel provided more detailed tips and picture guides in their description, it would be very easy to find. We ended up taking a lot of detours and even dragged our luggage across the railway tracks after getting off the train – it was tiring and dangerous."

"It's always reassuring to have a reliable Toyoko Inn right in front of the station. There are less than a handful of izakayas nearby, so perhaps anticipating a lack of dining options, they had curry available during dinner hours. The breakfast buffet in the morning was consistently great. The front desk staff (a man) was a bit unfriendly, and the snoring from the next room was a bit bothersome, but overall, these were minor issues. I'd definitely like to stay here again when I'm in Higashihiroshima."
