"Top-notch place with a great location, perfectly decent breakfast, and perfectly decent rooms. Maybe don't book families with children facing the street, as it gets extremely noisy out there. The light in the bathroom was broken and couldn't be turned off. It's a shame the hot tub was out of order. The girls at the front desk were fantastic! The food in the restaurant was excellent. We'd happily come back next time we're in town for a volleyball or handball cup :)"

"The location is superb; the hotel is right across from the train and bus stations. The hallways and rooms are exceptionally clean, and it's wonderfully warm when you come in from the cold outdoors. The room boasts an unbeatable view, offering a panoramic vista of the endless lake and the charming Nordic-style red brick houses of the small town. The view from the window is like a painting. Breakfast food quality is very high, fresh and delicious."

"Incredible stay, we arrived on a beautiful sunny day as our first stop on our honeymoon. The castle is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Filip paired a wonderful wine with our lovely dinner, a meal we’ll remember forever. Fredrik was also lovely, and we really enjoyed chatting with him. The room was clean and quiet, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We would have loved to stay one more night! And the breakfast.. there are no words, it was just too good. Highly recommend Västanå Slott for anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape."
