"Bungalows Sanlaz is a beautiful property. It is a peaceful paradise. We spent a whole week there doing different adventures around Costa Rica. It was so nice to come back each day to a quiet place with a beautiful swimming pool and view. We saw iguanas, tucans and other wild life. Alessandro and Lazara are great hosts. This is my second time staying here and I will be back again."

"Healthy but truly delicious food. Unbelievably beautiful views and facilities. I wanted to take a photo everywhere I looked. Healing spa services. An incredibly knowledgeable and kind resident yoga teacher (thank you, Hannah!!). Loved Amal’s pranayama classes. Learned so much. The tasting menu at the Mystique blew us away, and Ulysses’ explanations gave us an education on Costa Rican cuisine and culture. Every staff member went above and beyond. Special shoutout to Ramon. We booked our return stay before we even left. I cannot say enough good things. I feel nourished, rested, restored, and with a level of balance that I haven’t in a long time. Such a special place where every detail was thought through, and guest service and care is at the forefront. Thank you, Retreat!!!"

"The property owners are friendly and?accomodating. The grounds are well kept and the view is outstanding. There is also a nice pool area with a grill, coffee and nice tables. I found the bed a little hard, but I am told they are addressing it. I will stay for a longer visit next time."
