"This is a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds. We stayed in the annexe part of the hotel which has been recently and beautifully refurbished. The rooms were lovely and cosy with a very comfortable bed. They provided dog bowls and dog bed for our small dog. We dined in the hotels sister hotel which was about a 10 minute walk away rather than eating in the main restaurant in the hotel as we wanted a more relaxed dining experience after driving all day. It’s a great location if you’re driving through France as not too far off on the motorway."

"We had a wonderful time on December 31st to celebrate the end of the year. A delightful moment with Antoine and Sophie, who had also decided to spend a different kind of New Year's Eve. It's a place to discover as a couple or with friends. It's not the Drôme Provençale, the Dordogne, or Brittany, but Marion and Dani are so attentive that words can't do justice to Villa Calma. The New Year's Eve dinner was exceptional, absolutely stunning, to say the least. If you ever feel like discovering this place, I recommend doing so with a theme: a wine and beverage tasting, because Dani will introduce you to some amazing wines and other drinks, as he has the talent of a true sommelier. He knows how to pair drinks with the dishes prepared by Marion... Of course, you'll need to plan your themed weekend, as their daily routine is that of a guesthouse that often welcomes guests "just in time." There were four of us on December 31st, 2025, and quite frankly, we loved it... We highly recommend this detour to meet Marion, Dani, and little Mahé... We'll be back, that's a promise... Dom & Nath"

"The hotel is very well located, near the motorway, if you want to stop going or return from the south. The rooms are very spacious. Beds and earwaves are comfortable. Air conditioning works very well. The bathroom is very large but I found the laundry installed a little too high and I would have preferred having a shower door that closes completely. Breakfast was very good. Grand parking."

"The hotel is still quite far from the city center, and without a car it can be complicated, but it's a choice. Room on the ground floor, a little small. I was alone but with 2 or three, it was difficult to open large suitcases. In any case, clean and quiet, except when the fire alarm wakes everyone up at 2 a.m., without follow-up. Opportunity to meet your neighbors. Decent breakfast, small pastries would have been welcome. Very friendly and welcoming staff."

"The Ibis Styles in Grenoble is centrally located, making it a convenient spot for visitors. It's just a short stroll to the old town and equally close to the train station. Situated on the main Cr Jean Jaures, it offers easy tram access for getting around Grenoble. The hotel's alpine decor reflects Grenoble's valley position nestled between mountains. The lobby is functional, designed more for convening than relaxing. Check-in was friendly and efficient, and as a loyalty member, I enjoyed a welcome drink which had to be taken at check-in. The lobby and reception area open into the breakfast space, which provides hot and cold water all day along with coffee/tea sachets. The room was well-sized with a soft, comfortable bed as the main feature. There was also a foldaway single bed doubling as a mini couch, though its pleather cover suggested a need for disinfectant wipes. The room's decor was decent but not luxurious, echoing a functional aesthetic. Unfortunately, I had to buy an air freshener to mask a strange smell upon entering. The WiFi was fast and reliable at around 40mbs The bathroom was basic and functional, with a shower head I felt compelled to clean before use. As for breakfast, it's worth skipping. While it includes continental options like pastries, breads, cheese, and meats, it shouldn't be the deciding factor for booking. Coffee aficionados will be disappointed with the coffee machine. Overall, you get what you pay for. As a repeat visitor to Grenoble, I can say there are better alternatives."

"We booked 5 rooms for a 5 night stay to use the hotel as a based to ride our motorcycles around the Alps. Hotel was chosen as it had secure parking. We arrived on Monday 16th June and on 17th June one of the bikes was stolen. On reviewing very poor CCTV it appeared that the security gate that should have been locked at 10:30 had been left open. Hotel reported “a malfunction” when questioned about this. We found that the gates were not secured on following evenings and we stored our bikes off site. Very very poor."
