"We went to eat with my family, a 35€ menu that was the worst of my life, (I was celebrating my birthday at Encina) the service was terrible, not even a good morning from the waiter, he didn't know what he was putting on the table, since he had put vichyssoise and he had to go back to the kitchen to ask because he didn't know what to answer. We ordered a grill that only had chicken, rabbit and chorizo, to my surprise when I cut the meat they were totally raw, I asked to return the plate, it's impossible to eat that! I changed it for a medium rare entrecote that arrived at the table raw and when you touch the meat it's still cold, it's a total disgrace, nobody deigned to apologize, only to walk around the kitchen window to see who was returning the plate for the second time, it's a total disgrace, and that's where the kings ate?? haha ​​poor kings. Of course I will never go back because the service, the food and the treatment were terrible. I do not recommend it to eat."

"We ate dinner in the restaurant of the Hostal ---here in the Plaza de la Villa #2. Fabulous dinner. Gorgeous location and the best friendly service by Fernando our waiter. "When you arrive in the car park the place looked derelict. Don’t be fooled by the photos. The rooms are VERY basic which you expect from a less than 3 star property (advertised as 3). The mold in the bathroom (see photo) was disgustingly - nothing short of a health hazard. The carpets in the hallway had holes in them. Just an absolute sh1t pit"

"It's quite an experience to stay in a building with the history and presence of the CanFranc station. The entire staff is professional, friendly, and very attentive. The junior suite is spacious, well-decorated, and very comfortable. I would perhaps change the two joined beds for a single king-size bed, but it's a minor detail. The breakfast buffet is very complete and varied. The heated pool is a great place to relax, and the spa services (massages and wellness treatments) are very well-chosen. The CanFranc Express, the Michelin-starred restaurant, deserves a special mention. The tasting menu, along with the experience of boarding the carriage where the menu is served, is truly special. Highly recommended! And congratulations to Eduardo Salanova and the restaurant team for making it possible."
