Sunrise Hotel
"I am writing this review while enjoying the last moments in the pool before leaving. We spent five FABULOUS days in Ios and especially in this hotel. We opted for a deluxe room that overlooked the chora, it had 2 rooms with two double beds and a cot so it was approved for more than 2 people. Greek style rooms a bit "spartan" but we only used it to sleep and wash, the only flaw was that the air conditioning was leaking but they immediately fixed it. Bar area with beautiful pool every now and then they came back early from the sea and we used the pool always ventilated it was divine. The staff then fantastic, kind and friendly girls work there. You eat well and the prices are normal, we also had breakfast included it is not a buffet and every morning they brought us a plate with eggs ham cheese toast pancakes Nutella and honey and it was done at 10 so you had all the time to wake up comfortably. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel, we had a great time and the room with a view of the chora made everything even more beautiful."
Yialos Ios Hotel
"We stayed in this hotel for three nights in late May. The hotel comprises a series of stand-alone buildings grouped around a swimming pool and sun terrace. The hotel sits beside a minor road serving the port. The hotel consists of a restored cheese factory and a number of new build units, generally two storeys high. It has about 35 rooms with a wide range of available facilities in the rooms (some rooms have a Jacuzzi or a private pool for instance, and some are apartments). Our room was a Deluxe Double. The hotel is situated on the edges of the port area but within easy walking distance of the centre of the area known as Yialos and of the beach – also Yialos! The beach has bars and restaurants. We reached the hotel by taxi (lazily because we were uncertain where it was) but it is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the port with luggage. The whole route is level. There is a hotel car park. We believe the hotel can adequately serve guests with mobility difficulties and those who might be in wheelchairs. A small building just off the road houses a reception area, the breakfast buffet area and a servery for coffee and drinks. Through the building there is a terrace used for breakfast but with seating that is employed by guests all through the day. There a bar. This terrace lays beside the large swimming pool and the sun terraces which are copiously furnished. There are a number of day beds. The whole area is substantially planted and well kept. Our room was sizeable, outside the room there is a private covered seating area with a table and bench sofas adequate for four or five people. The room itself had a large circulation area with a WC and walk in shower directly off and a pair of wash-handbasins set in an open recess. There was a hanging rail sufficient for several days’ clothes and shelving for clothes storage. There was a refrigerator and a safe. There was a short bench which could be used for sitting on or as a shelf. The bed, which was large and comfortable, was on a raised concrete platform at the furthest end of the room. We understand that this is not a common feature – we found it difficult, probably because of our age, but getting onto and off the mattress was difficult because there was no height between the bed and the floor. The arrangement worked but it provided additional entertainment as we crawled around! The lighting scheme is extravagant and provided another focus for entertainment, but once mastered it was very useful. Bedlinen and towels were of good quality. Excellent toiletries were provided. There was some noise from the unit above, but not of consequence even though the hotel was reasonably full. There was no external noise. Aircon was efficient and wifi was good – it worked outside too. Housekeeping was excellent. We took breakfast at the hotel and as far as we are aware no other meals are offered although there is a continuous supply of drinks - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic- and snacks"
Ios Palace Hotel & Spa
"Perfect , would return 12992 times . The amazing buffet"
Relux Ios Hotel
"We had a pleasant 2 night stay here. It’s a great location with a very short walk from the ferry /port. The hotel staff are very welcoming and really helped us with identifying a boat trip to do - they essentially did the work on availability and made a recommendation which proved great Breakfast was nice with good variety. Their fresh orange juice very nice. We had a room with hot tub which provided good space and some relaxation for us. The air con was very good too and operated without the need for the key to be in the room. Mini bar was reasonably priced too!"
Agalia Luxury Suites
"Hotel was so tastefully and creatively done. The staff was super attentive, welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect in terms of being close enough to town but far enough to feel like a quiet paradise. Everything about how it was designed was to promote relaxation and tranquility from the glistening lighting in the rooms at night, to the giant lounger on our deck to the pages highlighted in a book in our room that was opened every night to a different passage for us to read before bed. Well done! I also loved their Pathos sister property. Even my critical teens loved it!! We will be back - and will definitely check out the other properties on the island. Thank you Elias and crew for an amazing time!"
Kritikakis Village Hotel
"Probably this is the best hotel that we have stayed in this Europe trip. Staff members are very helpful, cheerful and considerate. They had a PowerPoint to go through with us at the check in. Very clear and welcoming introduction. 🤍they also offered a free upgrade for our room! So grateful! The room is so spacious and nicely decorated. They did housekeeping every day to change our beddings & provide toiletries! all the staff and clean ladies are so heartwarming and they genuinely want you to have the best stay in Ios island. We had the best vacation here! Highly recommended!"
Acteon Hotel
"It was our first holiday as a couple after five years. Such a wonderful place. To be sure we booked to The Acteon cause our ferry arrived at 1am. When we contacted the Lady to arrange how to get in the room she has been very kind and available. The next morning she welcomed us and guide us about good breakfast, nice beaches and parties. We were surprised about her organization. Especially cause I forgot my makeup trousse in a restaurant the last night there (terrible for a girl, more for the sentimental value being that it is a gift), as soon as I called her she immediately went there to take it. What else to say, such a lovely person. Furthermore, the room was perfect for the situation. I mean very cosy, clean and furnished. Even if the cleaner start at 10 in the morning and you leave later you will find your room clean and tidy. It is not a common fact, in my experiences. Despite bad opinion, you are going in holiday so you don't need a Royal Suite. Try to enjoy outside. If you wanna stay in the room passing your time criticizing badly cause you don't have a jacuzzi to wash the sand on you then move away and pay more somewhere else. I mean, we are 19 and 22, so you can imagine how we are disorganized and caotic, but we lived in there peacefully and confortably. I felt that We paid the right amount for four nights in a well maintained room. Great place, rounded by rental shop, 24h mini market with fresh pastries and restaurants. I wont never regret about our choice and we are looking forward to go back. Go in holiday, sit back and enjoy the view!"
Drakos Twins
Far Out Hotel & Spa
"Spent a week here and if honest was disappointed in room it was not clean, it was dusty and grubby, and the bathroom plastic curtain needs binning the sink was dirty, I paid quite alot for this room and expected better. The cleaners sit on stairs watching stuff on their Phones and need to be careful what they say about females who walk past as I speak Greek and do not take kindly to being commented on. The bar man makes up the prices im sure and is not exactly the most friendly of people. Penelope front desk is lovely that's as far as I would go, one min staff say hi next min they walk past without looking. The young girl in breakfast room was rude to me one morning when I asked for a cup for ny coffee, she basically said wait, an never came back I went and got a coffee from the bar by pool but got charged. Would I return NO! "

Skala Sunset Hotel and Spa
"Skala Sunset is a true hidden gem in Ios. Perched above Chora, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the village and sea—ideal for watching the sunset with a cocktail by the pool. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, and the hotel itself is clean, stylish, and well-equipped with a spa and shuttle service. An unforgettable spot to unwind and enjoy the magic of the Cyclades. Highly recommended!"
Petra Holiday Village
"The place was amazing, clean and had beautiful view. The girl owner very kind. I recomment to anyone. Best part wwas waking up in the morning and had my breakfast literaly by the sea. When i wanted i jumped in the sea , is just 5 meters away..."
FarOut - BeachResort & Camping
"We stayed in the cabins and when we arrived we weren’t told that there would be cleaners coming in the room everyday. Around 300 euros was missing from our wallets. Would not recommend this dodgy accommodation"
Mare Monte
"We stayed here with 4 teenage girls and 4 women. The accommodations were great. The owners were amazing! Katerina made us a breakfast that was absolutely delicious. The place felt like home away from home. The beach was right across the street with very affordable beach clubs with chairs umbrellas and food! Great restaurants around the hotel also. The whole experience was lovely and I would definitely stay here again."
Lofos Village
"We were met from the port which was appreciated as this hotel is up a reasonably steep hill. However, very close to the town and restaurants. There is also a bus for 2 euros that takes you down to the port area. Anything you need ask Elizabeth - she is wonderful and so helpful, nothing to much trouble. We did get the impression that breakfast wasn't really an option there so we ate out at the many other places nearby. Breakfast is not included in the accommodation price. We were recommended some excellent restaurants like The Nest. Plus the visit to Alma Sunset bar was a definite must. The room was clean and serviced daily with towels replaced too. Loved the fact we received water every day free of charge. Pool was wonderful to use after a long day out and about - towels provided too."
Brother's Hotel
"We stayed here on a 4 day break on 5/6/24 to 9/6/24. We looked for hotels in IOS and when we read the reviews of this hotel, it was enough to make our minds up there and then. And we were not disappointed. It was more than we could have hoped and wished for. Firstly, the welcome and hospitality we received from Nick and Lisa, was second to none. First class. This hotel is situated just off the beaten track, yet within a 10 minute walk of a small, but nice beach, and the bars and restaurants of the port, which is very nice at night. Our room was absolutely spotlessly clean, complete with a nice comfy bed, super shower, tv, kettle, etc. All linen, towels and sheets are renewed every day! The pool is quite deep, and just the right size for a swim. The breakfast was appetising, fresh, and a nice selection to choose from. Nick and Lisa provided an “honesty” fridge near the pool, stocked with beers, fizzy drinks and water, which they trusted you to pay for what you took, how good is that? I’ve never come across that before, anywhere! I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, and we do hope to return there one day. Nothing is too much for Nick and Lisa, they are on hand for whatever need you may have. It’s a 10 out of 10 from us 👍🏻"

Calilo
"I wąż promise counciere 24h and I ask fir few staff in the email when I arrive the person check in didnt know what I want and it is problem with service i wanted my counciere 24h iron my dresses I was told no and it is housekeeping job !"
Ios Grand Pool Suites
"WOW! Had an amazing 9 nights in the super establishment! The 1bed with private pool room we had just amazed with its outside space and views! The 'hotel' sits at the top of the cliff and is part of a larger hotel that sits below it, you can also use the 'main' hotels services, but you really do not need (or even want) to as the suite has everything you need. All the main staff were amazing, nothing seemed too much trouble. If I were to pick a fault it would be the bathroom is a tad small and the 'cleaning' each day could have been better."
Armadoros Hotel / Ios Backpackers
"Lovely hotel, friendly ,helpful staff. My son and his friends had a fantastic holiday. Hotel rooms clean with bed linen changes and air con. There was also a fridge in the room. The swimming pool was huge. It was located very near the ferry port and a short walk up hill to the main strip. Would highly recommend"
Parthenon
"Parthenon hotel was the best place where we could stay at Ios! Quite and really near to the centre by walk. Vaggelis, the hoster, was always available for every need, the room was comfortable and everything was ok! Fantastic, we will be back!"
Flisvos Hotel
"I don't recommend it! There was no one at the reception, and when someone showed up, it was the hotel employee. The owner refused to come and help us. After the employee insisted, he came. In the room, the water was brown and the shower was dirty and had bits of rust coming out, making it impossible to shower. The furniture was old and the bed was extremely hard. Insects started to appear, like centipedes, spiders, and ladybugs. After exploring further, we noticed that the balcony doors had openings through which bugs were entering and exiting the wood. The good parts were the refrigerator and the view. The hotel employee was very friendly but didn't speak English."
Marcos Beach
"A Beautiful family run hotel with lovely sea views. Marcos, Jackie and Harry were great hosts and went out of their way to help us from taxi's, island information and last minute extended stay. The hotel has a lovely pool and everywhere is spotless. Its 5 mins from the hotel down a track to the beach and there are regular buses or taxi's to take you into the town. Will definitely be back when we can. Thank you all for helping us have an amazing holiday !!"
