"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at Ios Palace Hotel & Spa and I can’t thank the team enough for everything they did. I was organising a surprise for my mum’s 60th birthday and wanted everything to be perfect. From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly helpful, quick to respond, and always polite and professional. I had lots of requests and arrangements to make before we arrived, but the team handled everything flawlessly and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Every detail was taken care of exactly as planned, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the celebration with my family. The level of customer service was exceptional, and it was clear that the staff genuinely cared about making our stay special. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views, fantastic facilities, and a wonderful atmosphere, but what really made our experience memorable was the outstanding service from the team. Thank you all for helping make my mum’s 60th birthday so special. I would highly recommend Ios Palace Hotel & Spa and would love to return in the future."

"There was a serious ant problem in the room where I stayed. I also spotted bugs in the bathroom twice. Besides that, the room was very dark. It had a bunk bed setup, and the bed wasn't very comfortable. Finally, I had no interaction with the staff other than at check-in and check-out."

"We absolutely loved staying at Liostasi and would come back in a heartbeat! The view and sunsets were unreal and the staff was so kind and helpful! We also did the cooking class with the owner and it was so fun! The food was so delicious! We also loved how easy it was to get to and from the ferry as well as walking into the village. We did go during the quiet season, so it was not a party town, which was really nice!"

"My wife and I stayed at Yialos Hotel in Ios for three nights, which was the second stop for our honeymoon. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were warmly greeted by Dimitri, with a welcome drink, an early check in, and a room upgrade with a bigger balcony which was very kind. The room was spacious, with a kitchen and balcony, and the pool area is spectacular with different varieties of sun beds and seating areas. We had breakfast included during our stay and this was great. From eggs, bacon and sausages, to pastries and homemade cakes, we couldn’t have asked for more. There is a local bus stop just up the road from the hotel which can take you to Chora and beyond which costs €2.20 or you can walk up which takes around 10/15 minutes. In Chora we ate at Katogi, which is Greek fusion tapas and was one of the best meals we have ever had. We recommend booking a table prior to visiting as it is a popular spot. The hotel is close to the Port area, no further than a five minute walk and there are local cafes, restaurants and shops available. We would recommend Club Tropicana for food, with a varied menu and huge portions all for a reasonable price, just around the corner from the hotel. Every second at the hotel we felt welcomed and we were always greeted with a smile. If we ever visit Ios again we will certainly be staying at Yialos Hotel. Thank you Dimitri, Sophia and others for a wonderful stay - you are all great!"

"We have just returned from a super holiday on Ios where we stayed at the Relux Hotel. The hotel is only a very short walk from where the ferry arrives from Santorini. All the staff were very friendly - Stefanos who runs the outside bar beside the breakfast/dining area is great fun and knows everything about the island (he also makes excellent morning coffee). The buffet breakfast was very good with the lovely Christina on hand to keep everything spotlessly clean. The hotel pool has loungers and is very well looked after but we enjoyed taking the local bus at the harbour to Mylopotas where there is a great beach with good restaurants - it's an hourly service for 2 euros. We hired a car for one day from Jacob's Rental next door and were well looked after by Maria and Katarina - we covered most of the island that way. All in all, Relux is in a superb setting at the port with great staff and tavernas within a 5 minute walk - highly recommended!"

"Our room was comfortable and spacious, with a good bed and a comfortable bathroom, and with a stunning view from the balcony over the bay of Mylopotas. Rich breakfast and always warm smiles from Mrs. Popi, Anthi at the spa does an excellent job and Sofia is always there for whatever you need. We had a great time!"

"We stayed for 4 nights in a room with a fantastic view of Chora. The room was modern, well decorated, clean, comfy with a coffee machine and fridge. The hotel is in an excellent position, just a short walk from the town, the bars, restaurants and shops. The host Elizabeth was wonderful. She took the time to explain anything and everything. She gave recommendations on restaurants, places to visit on the island and how to get around. There were a couple of small issues which she dealt with immediately. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying on Ios."

"This is the best hotel I have ever been to. Dimitra and her amazing staff create a home from home in this beautiful hotel on this incredible Island. I have been to many hotels and I can honestly say this has been the best experience all round. The hotel is immaculate, the facilities are fantastic, the food is delicious and everyone who works there treats you like family and they cannot do enough for you. I would even go there on my own it’s so wonderful. I am very sad to leave them all and I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you all so so much."

"This island is known as the party island of the islands. This was first time staying here in the far-out hotel. They say you get what you pay for. In this case it is very accurate. The rooms are mainly to get some sleep that's it. The hotel has a definite party vibe. However, absolutely everything you do cost a fee. If you want to use the pool a fee, beach a fee the gym a fee laundry a fee food a fee. Nothing here is included. NOTHING! if the place was smart they would just add it to the accommodations so that you don't feel like you're getting scammed at every turn. Anyway the only good thing is that the public bus stops right in front $2 ow and they pretty much ride up and down approx every 20-30 min. But the last bus is at midnight so for you party animals the party here starts at midnight so you'll have to catch a taxi back at about $10 ow. Over all 3 days here is all you need. Bring your fun friends and get ready to tan and dance."

"Just back from 10 day stay in Petra . Superb holiday in excellent accomadation . Staff are all excellent . Studio individual apartment was very well laid out with lovely patio area overlooking harbour . Food was excellent . Atmosphere is very welcoming . Beach is on the doorstep and very safe for swimming . Local restaurants were excellent . There is bus connection to village and other beaches. Sunsets can be viewed from many locations . Walks to lighthouse and other tracks very amenable . Brilliant holiday and can’t wait to go back"

"We stayed at Mare Monte for 8 days and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly hospitable staff. Their friendliness and helpfulness truly made a difference. The location is perfect: just a short walk to the beach, close to great restaurants, and near several scooter rental companies, which made exploring the area super easy. The hotel itself has a lovely pool, perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. The only small downside was that the mattresses were a bit firm for our taste, and the douche is a little bit tiny. But that really comes down to personal preference. All in all, we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend Mare Monte to anyone visiting the area!"

"Opted for the Panoramic Suite and it was spectacular. The terrace was the best part of the stay. There was a refrigerator and wet bar along with a large lounge, large dining table along with two other chairs. Outside the living room was another 4 seat table for evening sundowners. Fabulous large pool with two in pool chairs. The breakfast in room service was excellent as well and very enjoyable out on the terrace. In room facilities were perfect as well. Best part of our three week trip. Now a part of Hyatt via the Mr. & Mrs. Smith boutique hotel chain. Highly recommended."

"Myself, my partner and son first stayed in August 25, we were really pleased all round with the Sunrise so we booked for another 2 weeks in July 26 bringing 2 other families with us. All rooms have a fantastic view of Chora and the beautiful sunsets and were clean with a safe, coffee making facilities and hairdryer. The hotel is in a great location, close to the village so not relying on buses or taxis late at night and the added bonus of a free transfers from the port on arrival and going home. The pool area is lively and very convenient for your morning coffee, the kids enjoyed the pool most days. Thank you to Gali and the team for another great stay, will not hesitate to book again next time in Ios!"

"I am so glad that I managed to visit again Ios and I can say that I start to fall in love with the island.Staying again at Calilo (this time with my family)it was again a unique experience.All the activities and the services was tailored to my needs.Concierge made that happen,helping with everything that we needed.Being Gluten free is not a problem here as I can find many options to choose from.Service team seemed stressed but still managed everything to be in place.I am sad that I didn’t had the time to visit the famous Ches restaurant as I was exhausted from my boat trip and strolling around.Next year I am sure will be again a whole new game. Ps YOU HAVE TO VISIT THE GYM!Is out of this world!!!!"

"The location was good halfway between the port and village and budget friendly. The pool area was nice but the rooms were poor. Dust everywhere, cockroaches, insects and VERY VERY loud. From 1am through until 9am you can hear literally everything. We had hardly any sleep staying here. Cleaners will unlock your room and walk in early in the morning and are very loud too. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything. At least 50 cats that stay here and are all over the hotel. But staff were lovely."

"A Beautiful family run hotel with lovely sea views. Marcos, Jackie and Harry were great hosts and went out of their way to help us from taxi's, island information and last minute extended stay. The hotel has a lovely pool and everywhere is spotless. Its 5 mins from the hotel down a track to the beach and there are regular buses or taxi's to take you into the town. Will definitely be back when we can. Thank you all for helping us have an amazing holiday !!"
