For Spring / Summer / Autumn guests, we have a great deck area for entertaining, cooking and eating, and the hot tub and fire pit are right in the mix. We are walking distance to Timberline Mountain and a short drive to Canaan Valley Resort so you can easily tap into their events schedule. You are able to hike into the Dolly Sods, play tennis, fish, golf, and enjoy the outdoors without ever driving more than 3 minutes. You are a short walk away from The Owl Market which boasts wonderful pastries and coffee as well as a beer and wine selection and ice cream service. A short scenic drive and you can enjoy the little towns of Davis and Thomas, as well as Black Water Falls. For winter guests, we are located at the base of the mountain, so while you are walking distance to the lodge and lifts, you do not need 4WD to access our property! This is a great bonus in bad weather when the steep roads around Timberline Mountain can make access difficult. If you are feeling up for an adventure, you can hike to Dolly Sods right from the condo or walk to the Mountain Owl for lunch and ice cream. Other amenities such as the Canaan Valley Spa and Wellness Center within walking distance or a short drive. Afterwards, you will enjoy the views by the gas fireplace! This device does have an embedded microphone and video camera (however we keep the camera disabled/covered). The microphone can also be disabled on the device if preferred (note this would also disable voice control of the property's SMART features). Each night at 10 PM a siren will go off in town indicating that the curfew is in effect for the youngsters in our community.
