Pelicans Perch is a spacious studio suite in the very desirable Sea Trail community in Sunset Beach. You will find everything you need for a wonderful getaway to the coast... from the comfortable beds to the relaxing screened in porch. The kitchenette has a full-size refrigerator, a microwave and a Keurig coffeemaker. The ensuite bathroom offers a separate sink/vanity area from the toilet/shower room making it private and efficient for more than one traveler. The television is a smart tv with complimentary Netflix subscription. (Feel free to login to any of your own channels while staying). Pelicans Perch is a short ride away from the beautiful outdoor pool complex complete with an indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness facility. Sea Trail is a beautiful neighborhood with walking and biking trails and award-winning golf! ** please note. The guest pool is under renovation until August 2025 (projected completion date) and will not be available until that time. We have lowered our nightly rates and made bikes available to our guests to make up for the loss of amenity at this time. Our property is near the South Gate which means you are just over the bridge from the beach and can have your toes in the sand in just a few minutes. We are also walking/biking distance to the beautiful Sunset Park on the intracoastal waterway with its beautiful walking trails, docks and views of the water. You can put in kayaks and paddle boards here at the park. Welcome to Carolina Sunset. This ocean view, kid-friendly rental is ideally located on the quiet island of Sunset Beach, NC. Our home is very close to the pier, market, ice cream shop, equipment rentals and of course, the beach! The front porch offers stunning views of both the ocean and the amazing NC coastal sunset/rise. Warm summer nights can be spent listening to the ocean from the rocking chair porch or exploring the island by foot or bike. Our home is a short drive to golf, Calabash, Little River and Myrtle Beach but without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle.Indoor Space:This well-appointed condo comes ready with everything you could need. The large bedroom has a King bed, en-suite full bath with tub, rocking chair with foot stool and a sitting bench. Second room has 2 Queen beds with full bath (2 steps across the hall) with walk-in shower. The living room has a couch that expands to a Queen sleeper sofa-bed. The full kitchen, dining room and living room boast a large open floor plan lending to a fantastic gathering space. Our dining room table seats 6 and there are 2 additional barstools at the kitchen counter over-hang. The kitchen comes fully stocked with cookware, dishes, cups, utensils and an assortment of spices to get you started. In addition to the usual kitchen appliances, available to you is a dual coffee maker, allowing both drip coffee or single serve (K-cup compatible). Our house has a dishwasher and full washer and dryer. Complete linens are also provided. There will be a starter set of commonly used items, as well as a few snacks waiting for you on the kitchen counter. There are many books, puzzles, kid toys and games available for your use. Each room contains a wall-mounted flat screen Roku TV. YoutubeTV Cable and wi-fi are also provided. There is a pack and play, small high-chair and umbrella stroller available for those with children. Beach towels are provided. Extra blankets are provided.Outdoor Space:Parking at our home is free and can fit up to 3 standard size vehicles. Our designated parking is underneath the building (see picture) and allows for vehicles to be parked in a single line. There is an outdoor shower (hot/cold water) and a storage room for guests. Some beach chairs, an umbrella and bikes are provided. There are a couple of ride-on kid toys, small plastic kiddie pool and beach wagon. There are also 4 patio chairs to use in the covered area for lounging.All guests will receive our electronic welcome book prior to arrival. This will contain important information as it relates to our property, your stay and important things to know. It will also include our suggestions of things to do and places to eat, as well as resources for services available in the area. There will be a printed version available at the condo.Guests will access our home during their stay via a unique code for the keyless smart-lock. For parents with children: there is a manual safety lock high up on the inside of the front door. There is one outward facing Ring doorbell camera on our front door.Please note that this is a top-floor unit. There are approximately 30 stairs to get to our front door. This unit is unfortunately NOT handicap accessible.We also own a golf ball business. Our house is very warm and inviting for multiple families and/or couples alike. Space for the kids to be kids, space for the adults to relax, and a great room atmosphere where everyone can be together when they want. The stocked kitchen has most everything you need to make gourmet meals, quick and easy snacks, or use the outdoor gas grill to cook up your favorite local seafood or other tasty treats. We also have full-sized laundry facilities in the mud room just off the kitchen. We also just put in granite countertops and a subway tile backsplash (Mar 2022)!Our home features 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths on two levels, with a total of 1600 square feet of living area . Main upper level is 3 bedrooms 1.5 baths, Master bedroom has private half bath, King sized Sleep Number bed, new ceiling fan, and sitting area, second bedroom has King bed and new ceiling fan, third bedroom has queen bed. The shared full bathroom in the hall is complete with a shower and bathtub. Finished lower level (via interior staircase and exterior entrance) is a fourth bedroom featuring a Queen bed, Double bed, couch, TV and Wii gaming system for kids/teens, and also has a large additional full bathroom. All bedrooms have flat-screen TVs and cable TV provided, along with house-wide WiFi Internet access. High quality linens, towels, beach towels, and more are provided for your use with each rental at no extra cost.Open concept great room, dining area and kitchen, vaulted 18 foot ceilings with lots of windows and 2 ceiling fans that provide tons of light and cool comfort (along with central A/C - heat). Screened in porch with ceiling fan, mini fridge, and plenty of places to sit and relax. There is a wraparound deck on three sides of our home, with a gate to close off the deck from ground access so kids and pets are safe, and stairs to a crow's nest (rooftop deck) with views of the inter-coastal waterway and the ocean. Perfect for sunrise coffees or sunset beverages, and some great tanning if you don't want to get all sandy!With a short few minute walk to the beach access at end of the street, guests can hit the beach, come back for lunch, and then head back with ease. The enclosed private outdoor shower makes for easy clean up when you get back, or a relaxing evening shower outside with the cooler temps and soft beach breezes.Come and enjoy all that Sunset Beach has to offer at our home.
