The property is located on a main road in town, but this is a one-stop light town! Street noise is minimal during the day and quiet at night.Two bedrooms are on the main level and additional twin beds are in the upstairs loft. The loft has a lower ceiling, which makes it ideal for younger guests. Beds offer supportive mattresses, layers of quilts (depending on the season), high quality sheets, and poly-down pillows; extra blankets and pillows are available.The main level bathroom has a claw-footed tub/shower, toilet and sink. The original medicine cabinet has a unique feature - a razor blade disposal slot. It has some quirks, like a slight slant in the floor and an air vent in the ceiling between the dining room and loft. The house is heated through an air vent in the dining room floor; this vent may be hot to the touch when the furnace is running. Parents with infants/toddlers are advised to be cautious; please supervise children at all times. The house has no closets other than one small space in the upstairs bedroom/loft. Guests should feel free to unpack luggage and store clothing in the bedroom dressers. The kitchen floor can be chilly during frigid weather; a basket of house slippers/socks is near the front door. Guests are welcome to wear these in the house and leave with the used linens/towels prior to check-out.Locally, the nearby Mullan Trail Gas & Grocery has essentials and grocery items.
