Boathouse and dock set beautifully out on the point providing stunning views of the popular Jimmies Creek and a short ride to the main lake. Location is perfect for swimming, fishing, and water sports.The property was a duplex converted to a single-family home. The upstairs however remains separated with each side boasting a primary bedroom and second bedroom connected by a jack and jill bathroom and a laundry room. Each primary bedroom has lake views with a walk out balcony. The second living room includes a sofa bed that easily converts to a queen bed with additional sleeping for two. A room divider is available for additional privacy.Close proximity (12mins) to grocery store, ABC store, boat/jet ski rentals, restaurants/bakery/deli/coffee short, miniature golf, winery, bowling, Captain Jack Charters, etc.Linens, bath towels and wash cloths are provided. Rest and relax at Jeff and Nodie's place. There is no other cottage with its spectacular view of the main lake.. The view of the water is the same whether you sit at the dining table looking through a sliding glass door, on the porch or around the stone fire pit. The newly renovated cottage has an open floor plan with a full kitchen and family room. The porch with an outside dining area is located directly off of the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with many amenities including a microwave, blender and an air fryer and is fully stocked with pots and pans. There are two newly decorated bedrooms. One has a queen size bed and the other has twin beds. In the family room there is a queen sofa bed. A full size washer and dryer are available if you need to wash during your stay. Jeff and Nodie's Place has WI-FI and Cable TV.There are a few charcoal grills as well as a gas grill for your outside grilling pleasure. An outside sink with hot and cold water is available as well.There is a private pier for your use with anchors for a boat and water toys. There is a NC Wildlife Boat Access Ramp less than a mile away. The cottage is located directly to the left as you leave the boat access area. For your outside enjoyment, there are 2 kayaks, a large water mat a cornhole game and life jackets. Enjoy swimming off of the pier. The water is approximately 5 ft directly in front of the pier. You can fish anywhere around the peninsula.Jeff and Nodie's Place is centrally located off of River Road. Enjoy night-time fun around the new fire-pit!The main floor has an open concept with seating for 4 at the granite topped island as well as a separate dining, opening to the living area. Hardwood floors, stainless appliances and granite counters create this modern home away from home, filled with amenities. The main floor master bedroom has a king size bed and a walk in closet. The master bath has a whirlpool tub and separate shower. Upstairs has 2 large bedrooms, one with bunk beds and a Full (New 2019) bed and the other with a queen size bed and a lake view. These rooms share a large full bath & tub/shower with plenty of storage. The lower level has a private room with a queen size bed, a furnished game room and an additional full size futon. The lower level also has a full bath. The game room is equipped with a flat screen TV a game cube and ping pong table. There is a walk out to a covered patio for outdoor dining, just steps to the lake. The Weber gas is also available for your cookouts. The kids will be entertained with a ping pong table, TV and Wii. Like the kitchen, all baths are upgraded with granite counters and new cabinets creating a modern feel. The large dock has 8 feet of water depth, and offers two areas for boat tie-up for your use. Water depth is 3 feet at the steps near the shore to 8 feet at the outer edge of the dock. The calm water cove allows for safe swimming, floating, kayaking and paddle-boarding for worry free water play.The landscaped back yard is perfect for badminton or Frisbee. The Lantana bushes attract butterflies and hummingbirds in the summer and at night chase the fireflies in the yard with the little ones. Just a few miles to the public boat launch, there is ample space for multiple vehicles and your boat trailer on our property. This property was formerly called "Livin The Dream" Lake Gaston.The home features two living spaces, an open-concept kitchen/dining area, decks/balconies overlooking the sandy beach and main lake waters, a bedroom with a king-size bed and full bath on the main level, two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms on the second floor, and a walkout terrace level with a full bath and laundry. Guests can use our three kayaks and two paddle boards for no additional cost. The basement is also full of fun! There are lots of games, including trivia, foosball, Golden Tee, ping-pong, a poker table, and corn hole. Several floats, some sand toys for kids, two beach chairs, three folding outdoor chairs, and fishing poles are also included for use.
