The first floor unit has been lovingly updated and outfitted to host up to 8 people when using the twin trundle bed and separate futon in the den area. (The private upper floor unit is only used occasionally by the owners and will not interfere with your enjoyment of the home.) Redberry House is fully stocked with linens, bath towels, and beach towels, as well as a well-stocked kitchen and two internet TVs (via Roku). Unfortunately, the unit does not have a dishwasher or washer/dryer. Air conditioning is provided via two window units, along with ceiling fans and oscillating tower fans, that are more than sufficient for keeping the space cool and comfortable!The Manistee area has so many interesting areas and activities to explore and is graced with beautiful landscapes that allow you to catch your breath, relax, and retreat. This cozy and relaxing space is a back unit 1 bedroom 1 bath with back yard deck access. This place is small but mighty! Just a short 10 min stroll to 5th avenue beach & a 5 min walk to downtown Manistee! This setup is a bit unique to provide a great little space for your family! The 1 bedroom holds a triple bunk each with twin size mattresses and a rollaway cot which can be used if needed. The living room has two fold out couches. One is your traditional style fold out couch & one is a IKEA folding couch (very cozy). One is full size and one is a queen. Both fit two adults each. The living-room ottoman tranforms into a single rollaway cot perfect for a child or small adult. This unit could sleep 6-9 depending on your personal needs. Unsure? Just ask! Beautifully decorated Lake Michigan beach cottage!! Well appointed 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage literally within walking distance to one of the most beautiful beaches in the state. Also within walking distance to lovely downtown Manistee, which boasts several bars, restaurants, a brewery, riverwalk, and even a movie theater. If you’re lucky you will get to see one of the majestic freighters float by on the river as you stroll on the riverwalk! Our home comes fully furnished with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. We have a fully stocked kitchen as well as all pillows, towels, blankets, linens etc. There is a 50 inch flatscreen TV with cable and Internet. In the private wooded backyard, you will find a beautiful fire pit area as well as an outdoor dining area. Guests also have use of our garage while visiting. This is the perfect place to stay to enjoy northern Michigan at its finest. Summer months do require 6 night minimum stay.
