Welcome to North Captiva Island! A short, ferry ride separates you from reality, for your tropical paradise vacation. As you approach the island by boat, the troubles and worries of the real world will fade away. Be on the lookout for tranquil manatees and playful dolphins that love to show off their aerial skills. Roughly 25 minutes after leaving the mainland, you will step ashore at one of the two ferry docks on the island. A host from our new property management company will greet you at the dock and escort you, via golf cart, the very short distance to Paradise Palms. There are no paved roads, traffic lights or traffic jams on this island. A North Captiva traffic jam is three golf carts within 50 yards of each other. North Captiva is a barrier island with five miles of beautiful white sand beaches, no crowds, turtles, dolphins and manatees. The majority of the island is State Park which you can enjoy free of charge. This custom, spacious home, built in 2015, is one of the few on the island that has a private pool located on the living level. You won't have to walk downstairs to enjoy the pool or cook on the grill. Simply walk out any of the 3 sliding glass doors from the kitchen, master suite or bedroom. The house has beautiful new furnishings and has been professionally decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked, complete with modern stainless steel appliances and a blender for your frozen drinks. The sky deck has 360 degree views of the Gulf of Mexico, Cayo Costa and Pine Island Sound. North Captiva Island has so much to offer! Sip your coffee as you enjoy inspiring sunrises from the roof deck in one our Adirondack chairs. Walk across the road to the boat docks to search for manatees. Walk any of the five miles of beaches, looking for shells. Charter a boat with one of the many experienced Captains to experience world class fishing. Kayak, paddle-board or swim in the warm shallow waters that surround the island. Load up your golf cart and head to the pristine white sand beaches to spend the day. Walk into the park and find your own stretch of private beach with no one around. Head back to your private pool for a cocktail and grill up the catch of the day or walk the beach at sunset, then head to one of the four great restaurants on the island for dinner. Don't forget to catch the moon and stars from the sky deck before turning in. There is plenty of room for all to gather in the open concept living area. The Master suite has a queen bed, attached bathroom, two dressers, a closet and a sliding glass door for pool deck access. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, dresser, closet and also walks out to the pool deck. Bathroom 2 is conveniently located between Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed, dresser and closet. Ahoy, land-ho! Gorgeous getaway destination ahead! Come visit La Casa Delphine: an elegant 3-bedroom waterfront haven, tucked away in the exotic habitats of North Captiva. No passport needed for up to 6 guests to escape the crowds, cars and bustling chaos of the mainland. This 3 story beach house offers a full kitchen and adjacent dining and living spaces, the master suite with king bed and accompanying bathroom & balcony, 2 upstairs bedrooms - one with queen and a fun 2 twin bedroom. There is abundance of windows, providing elemental views. Our favorite is the private harborside sitting porch. Recently renovated in 2018, fully prepared to host your vacation. New appliances, beautiful islandic atmosphere, AND included accoutrements for your trip… total #beachvibes. What is La Casa Delphine? Well, it translates to the Dolphin House – and for good reason! Though the HOA mandates no in-home pets are allowed to accompany, you’ll find fishy friends along the harbors and docks. Immerse yourself in the oasis, where dolphins play and manatees graze. Traverse the various nature-filled hiking trails, or use the fat tire bikes provided. Roam the stretches of intimate, white sandy beaches. The surrounding waters of the Gulf of Mexico offer many activities – paddle the canals in kayaks (complete with life vests), fishing charters, cast a line, hunt for shells & treasures with snorkel gear, venture out to meet a pod of porpoise pals! How will you find us? If not a Florida native, we suggest you fly into RSW Fort Myers, FL, drive or taxi to Pineland Marina, Pine Island, FL. This exclusive island is only accessible by water or air – private aircraft, boat, or Island Girl Ferry (approx. 30 min scenic ride). You can BYOB (Bring your own boat!) or rent a vessel and dock on the island’s private boat slip(for a fee). A guide will escort you to your Casa upon arrival, and can direct you around the island. How will you get around? Your stay includes a 6-passenger club car, an electric golf cart to transport you from place to place. You can also go by bike or by foot, the island is at most only 4 miles long! You and your guests will have granted access to the Safety Harbor Club – offers a heated swimming pool, tennis courts pickleball, look-out towers, outdoor gazebo, private wharf, fishing pier, and ice machine. What will you eat? Groceries can be taken with you on the ferry, or ordered delivered right to your villa (w/fee). The Mango’s Store offers the island’s grocery and convenience items. The Mainstay Upstairs offers delicious ice cream, gifts and specialty food items. Barnacles Bar, Bar & Grill at Mango’s, and the Waterfront restaurant (guests get priority seating!) are fabulous island options for some fresh fare. What else will our Casa provide? Along with the aforementioned kayaks, there will be fat-tire bikes, beach chairs, floats, outdoor gas grill, wifi access & DirectTV. The ground floor garage has a utility room with washer and dryer. Home will be stocked with toiletries, linens and first aid materials. Not to mention the priceless and unique view of each sunrise and sunset, free of charge. The adventure and activities are endless – amazing memories to be made, fresh seafood to be had, untethered nature to explore, marine wildlife to see, sweet ocean breeze to smell, sun kisses to feel. Do not wait to dream about it tomorrow, when you could plan your getaway today!About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 9:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Check-in can as early as 11AM if we do not have another booking leaving that morning..About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 23.About events:No events allowed.

* ALWAYS CLEANED AND SANITIZED BY A PROFESSIONAL CLEANING SERVICE!!Welcome to North Captiva Island, a private, bridge-less island accessible only by boat. North Captiva was separated from Captiva Island by a hurricane in 1921 which created Red Fish Pass. The lack of a bridge made development of North Captiva difficult and has resulted in an "Island Paradise", with a feel similar to Florida in the 1940's. North Captiva is noted for uncrowded, un-restored beaches with excellent shelling. The south two-thirds of the Island is a state wildlife area, while the north one-third is lightly developed with homes. "Island Time" is observed once you step off the boat onto the island! Please do not miss Gulf Dreams' drone video. You can access it in our pictures. Many of our pictures are reproductions of comments and drawings Gulf Dreams' guests have left in our Guest Book.IMAGINE... a beach vacation at a house that’s like your very own luxury beach resort called Gulf Dreams on-the-beach. The deed to this beach house states that the property’s west boundary is the Gulf of Mexico. The house has 75 feet of private, white sand Gulf beach for your pleasure, easily accessed by the only private, elevated walkway on the island.IMAGINE... keeping your own or rented boat at Gulf Dreams on-the-beach’s private 85-foot dock (lot is fenced with private, locked entrance, 28 ft boat or smaller only) on a private canal located 1,000-feet east of Gulf Dream's beach house. This dock can also be used for fishing. You will be greeted upon your arrival on North Captiva by Gulf Dream's manager. Our manager will transport you and your luggage and groceries to Gulf Dreams (unless you requested the kitchen be pre-stocked), will familiarize you with Gulf Dreams amenities, as well as the island, and will be a phone call away during your stay to meet your needs. IMAGINE... a secluded beach house four stories tall accessed by a long, landscaped driveway providing privacy from golf cart traffic and neighboring houses. IMAGINE.. a bright and airy 4-story beach house with vaulted ceiling heights of 10 to 14 feet throughout, 2 large screened-in lanais with expansive views of the pool and Gulf of Mexico (one where you can eat all your meals outdoors, the other where you can play ping-pong and board games).IMAGINE... a large, 4th-floor master suite, with spectacular 360-degree views of the Gulf and bay sides of the island, a gourmet, fully equipped kitchen with granite counters and high-end appliances, travertine and granite bathrooms.IMAGINE... having privately-owned heated swimming pool and pool-side gazebo located on a beach dune, surrounded by lush, tropical vegetation.IMAGINE... the only private, raised walkway that provides access to Gulf Dream's private beach while assuring complete privacy for the pool and Gulf Dreams.IMAGINE... your own 12 beach chairs and 3 umbrellas, 4 kayaks (4 single) and 2 SUP paddle boards make going to the "island" (an exposed sandbar) 1/3 mile offshore a great family shelling adventure.
