This townhouse is located in the quiet residential community The Villas of Bethany West, just steps away from a variety of restaurants and shopping. Our clean, updated kitchen includes all appliances, a breakfast bar, and even a washer / dryer. The spacious living / dining area includes a TV, fireplace, WiFi, and plenty of comfortable seating. The three bedrooms are all located on the 2nd floor. There is a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and two other bedrooms with 2 twin beds each. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV. The house receives plenty of natural sunlight. A large screened-in porch off the back of the house adds to the living space. The porch features a high ceiling, skylights, a ceiling fan, outdoor shower, seating for at least 8, and a closet stocked with additional beach chairs and supplies. A charcoal grill and 4 bikes are also provided for your enjoyment!The community has a large swimming pool along with a separate children's pool, tennis / pickleball courts, and basketball hoop - all just steps from the house and at no extra charge! There is also easy access to a beautiful Salt Pond with a dock for launching your kayak or canoe. Walk, bike, drive, or take the Bethany Beach Trolley for an easy ride to the beach or town. We have owned the home for many years, and love to vacation here as well! Large, spacious 2800 sq. foot house. The house is situated right on the lake with amazing water views. You can launch your kayak, canoe, or paddle board right off the dock in the back of the house. You can also fish off our dock. Hours of fun on the lake! Or just sit back and relax on our back deck to the water views watching the herons, ducks, and all the wildlife. There are also 2 tennis courts in the neighborhood for you to use. The house is just 1 mile down the road from the town of Bethany and the beach. Easy 20 min walk to the beach but even better, the trolley stops right in front of the house. The trolley runs every 1/2 hour during the summer and drops you off right at the beach and town. So park the car, go to the beach during the day, enjoy the restaurants in town in the evening, and the next time you will get in your car is when you leave to go home. If you prefer to drive to the beach, it's only a 5 minute drive and there are 2 parking passes available for your use.The main level features a large open living room/dining room. There is a full wall of windows in the living room with amazing water views of the lake. There is a flat screen TV and DVD. The house has cable and wireless internet.The large kitchen off the dining room has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The screened in porch is off the dining room with water views. There is a lounge area and also small dining area there. Walk outside the screened in porch onto the main floor deck and there is a great lounge set with amazing water views.There is also a large bedroom with its own bathroom on the main level so great for those who don't like stairs. Next to the bathroom is the laundry room with full washer/dryer.Up the stairs to the 2nd floor is a loft hallway that looks onto the main floor. The large master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with granite countertops. There is also a TV in the room. Off the master bedroom are sliding doors to the upstairs deck. In addition, there is a bin of toys in the bunk bed room that will keep the kids entertained for hours.The house sleeps 13 people with the above arrangement and that is the maximum number of occupants allowed for our rental. The driveway is large enough to park 4-5 cars. There is an outside shower on the right side of the house. The lake that the house sits on connects to the canals which connects to the bay. You are down the street from Bethany Beach and 10 minutes from Fenwick Island and Dewey Beach, 15 minutes from Ocean City, and 20 minutes from Rehoboth Beach. This is a 7th floor condo in the oceanfront portion of the award winning Sea Colony resort (Farragut House). There are fabulous views from your balcony overlooking the surf, sand, pool, and promenade.In the condo you are high above it all, ensconced in a well-furnished bungalow with a forever view of the ocean. Just sit back and relax on the balcony and listen to the waves with a glass of wine. Or take the elevator and a short walk past the pool to get to the beach. This convenient and well laid out beach home in the Bethany West Neighborhood is a perfect gem. The home offers four bedrooms and sleeps 12 comfortably. Two of the rooms have a queen bed. The other two rooms have pyramid bunks (single on top and double on the bottom) and a twin. The home has two bathrooms and a well appointed kitchen to handle meals at home after a long day at the beach. Another perk is the large sunroom if you need some additional space for dinner or to hang out and play one of the many games on site. Staying in Bethany West gives you access (daily or weekly rate not included) to the community extra's which include two swimming pools, tennis, pickleball and gym. All within a short walk!
