Your waterfront beach suite is within the Wing Point Community, which is one of the most established neighborhoods on Bainbridge Island centered around Bainbridge’s only 18 hole golf course. You have a lawn outside your double French doors that has a fantastic view of both Mount Rainier, the Olympic Mountains, the Sound with ships passing by as far as the eye can see and Eagle Harbor with the ferry and lots of boats jetting in and out. You can drive in 4 minutes or walk 25 minutes to charming downtown Winslow and the ferry, take a bus to 5 morning ferries and back from 5 evening ferries or call ahead to take a bus to/from anywhere on the island. This is an ideal spot for relaxing, visit with friends and family, explore our beautiful island including use as a stop during boating, live while remodeling or looking for a new house. Guests of our cottage will enjoy the feeling of being in the woods with all the urban conveniences of Bainbridge just minutes away. If you are not feeling up for driving to trails, there are trail heads just a few minutes away on foot from the property. Otherwise, great hiking trails are as close as a 5 minute drive. Bloedel Reserve, which is one of the furthest attractions on the island, is about a 20 minute drive. Winslow, the main town area and ferry terminal, is a 10-15 minute drive.
