"Enjoyed my one night stay on a Thursday night in October. Room - Superior Queen #110. $92 nzd. Pros -Cheap -Comfy mattress -Great location -Clean -Spacious room and bathroom -Heat pump which was on when i arrived which kept the room at a comfy temp. -Kind front desk woman on arrival. -Old world architecture. Cons -Noisy heat pump (albeit grateful there was one) -No sound insulation so can hear footsteps easily. -Bed was 2 x singles pushed together and had to sleep either side of the gap. Tip - book a superior room type. It's my experience these are better quality. When you book the lead in room category (deluxe) they're cheaper for a reason. I would return but not on a Friday or Saturday as the sound of the street noise and night clubs would be heard easily. Thanks for a nice stay."

"The hotel is incredibly cozy and comfortable, and you couldn't ask for a better location, it is right in the city centre with everything just a short walk away. Highly recommend."

"Quite the respite while transiting down from Auckland. This cozy place is smack dab in the middle of Tanui, right on the river. It makes walking to avail oneself of the many charming restaurants a breeze. Parking is a bit tough, but there's some street parking and reasonably priced garages nearby. Overall a solid hotel worth looking at!"

"Reception was efficient, Room was located upstairs a bit inconvenient especially with bags to haul, the room was spacious and clean , jetted tub was awesome, very handy location, our room was next to the main entrance, very noisy with traffic going past, woke us several times during the night, would not recommend this room. Would prefer a downstairs room away from the main entrance will be mindful if I book this hotel again."

"I stayed here for three nights and was quite satisfied with all the room facilities, except for the poor sound insulation. I could clearly hear the sound of car engines outside when I was sleeping in the middle of the night. Maybe it was because of the engines of the cars themselves, but it still caused my poor sleep quality. If you are someone who is sensitive to sound and want to stay here, you may want to consider it. In addition, on the afternoon of the second day of my stay, because there was a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on my room door, the housekeeping staff should not have come in to clean. However, I don't know if one of the housekeeping staff didn't see the sign or for some other reason, but she swiped the card to open the door after knocking on the door three times (I didn't answer the door when she knocked because I was in the bathroom and couldn't respond). At first I thought it was the working habit of people here in New Zealand, but the more I thought about it, the weirder it got. So the next day I happened to meet another housekeeping staff and confirmed with her. She said that if there is a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on the guest's door, they will not open the door to enter, but will only take photos for record. The housekeeping staff was also surprised that this happened, and apologized to me on behalf of the housekeeping staff who opened my door, and said that they would report this matter to their manager again, so apart from these two things, I was quite satisfied with this stay."

"The location is great, not far from the transportation hub bus station and the city center. The hotel also has a kitchen, so you can cook, which is very convenient. It's a ten-minute walk from the hotel to the riverbank, where you can stroll and enjoy the river views – a very beautiful spot."

"It's 15-20 minutes' drive from Hamilton. The soundproofing of the room is a bit poor, but otherwise it's very good. The taste is online, especially the lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and friendly."

"The front desk staff were very clear about the room's location and driving directions, even circling it on a map for us. They also turned on the AC/heating before we checked in, which was a very thoughtful touch. We received cookies and milk upon arrival. The room floor wasn't very clean, but the bedding was spotless. The room description stated a 1.51m wide bed when I booked, but it wasn't that wide in reality. The restaurant's food was delicious and the service was excellent. Although it's close to the airport, it's not noisy at all; I didn't hear any airplane noise after checking in."

"It's a very new hotel, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms offer views of the stadium – the scenery is fantastic. I would recommend it to friends and will definitely stay here again."
