"Enjoyed my one night stay on a Thursday night in October. Room - Superior Queen #110. $92 nzd. Pros -Cheap -Comfy mattress -Great location -Clean -Spacious room and bathroom -Heat pump which was on when i arrived which kept the room at a comfy temp. -Kind front desk woman on arrival. -Old world architecture. Cons -Noisy heat pump (albeit grateful there was one) -No sound insulation so can hear footsteps easily. -Bed was 2 x singles pushed together and had to sleep either side of the gap. Tip - book a superior room type. It's my experience these are better quality. When you book the lead in room category (deluxe) they're cheaper for a reason. I would return but not on a Friday or Saturday as the sound of the street noise and night clubs would be heard easily. Thanks for a nice stay."

"The hotel is in a great central location, making it super easy to get to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The breakfast was really good too, and I appreciated that it was served a bit longer than other hotels, until 11 AM. Plus, there are tons of restaurants nearby, both Chinese and Western, which was very convenient."

"Small and neat. Not too spacious but convenient and enough room to do whats needed. Staff was extremely helpful was able to fulfill some complicated request of invoice. Thanks for the effort !! Parking daily was 40NZ Dollar. The only concern i guess it wasnt fun to find parking around here. Quite challenging even during weekdays. breakfast was nice. Will still come again if I am around the area :D Convenient location to city zones , food and malls... Niceee"

"Reception was efficient, Room was located upstairs a bit inconvenient especially with bags to haul, the room was spacious and clean , jetted tub was awesome, very handy location, our room was next to the main entrance, very noisy with traffic going past, woke us several times during the night, would not recommend this room. Would prefer a downstairs room away from the main entrance will be mindful if I book this hotel again."

"I stayed here for three nights and was quite satisfied with all the room facilities, except for the poor sound insulation. I could clearly hear the sound of car engines outside when I was sleeping in the middle of the night. Maybe it was because of the engines of the cars themselves, but it still caused my poor sleep quality. If you are someone who is sensitive to sound and want to stay here, you may want to consider it. In addition, on the afternoon of the second day of my stay, because there was a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on my room door, the housekeeping staff should not have come in to clean. However, I don't know if one of the housekeeping staff didn't see the sign or for some other reason, but she swiped the card to open the door after knocking on the door three times (I didn't answer the door when she knocked because I was in the bathroom and couldn't respond). At first I thought it was the working habit of people here in New Zealand, but the more I thought about it, the weirder it got. So the next day I happened to meet another housekeeping staff and confirmed with her. She said that if there is a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on the guest's door, they will not open the door to enter, but will only take photos for record. The housekeeping staff was also surprised that this happened, and apologized to me on behalf of the housekeeping staff who opened my door, and said that they would report this matter to their manager again, so apart from these two things, I was quite satisfied with this stay."

"stayed here because its essentially the only backpackers in hamilton.. The place really lacks privacy - there's no separation curtains on the beds in the room so feels very open, no separated bathroom- all in the same room, but at least the toilets have gendered signs on the doors.. would prefer more separation since the men's and women's are all next to eachother. Owner and/or cleaners would come into the rooms without knocking. My bed had the AC directly above it and it was kept on all night, quite drafty. Had a decent kitchen and community area, and good location though."

"It's 15-20 minutes' drive from Hamilton. The soundproofing of the room is a bit poor, but otherwise it's very good. The taste is online, especially the lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and friendly."

"The hotel is very close to Hamilton Airport, making it convenient for both self-driving and catching flights. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the facilities were complete, with a pool available for relaxation. The overall environment was quiet, perfect for a layover. The front desk service was good, but the check-in efficiency could be improved. Overall, it offers good value for money and is recommended."

"It's a very new hotel, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms offer views of the stadium – the scenery is fantastic. I would recommend it to friends and will definitely stay here again."
