"Celebrated my birthday with great counter services provided by team would rate this 5/5"

"Booked through Ctrip and sure enough, they gave me the worst room, haha! You can specify not to have a room at either end of the hall, but I still got the very first room on the first floor. Parking is free in the hotel's backyard."

"Initially, we were given room 101, but it was too noisy due to the external air conditioning units facing an inner courtyard of the building. Eventually, Chris moved us to room 412. Even though it was next to the laundry room, it wasn't nearly as loud, and we were finally able to get some rest. The room is very spacious, and the beds are large and comfortable. The shower pressure was fantastic. We had a pleasant stay. Thanks, Chris!"

"Quite the respite while transiting down from Auckland. This cozy place is smack dab in the middle of Tanui, right on the river. It makes walking to avail oneself of the many charming restaurants a breeze. Parking is a bit tough, but there's some street parking and reasonably priced garages nearby. Overall a solid hotel worth looking at!"

"Reception was efficient, Room was located upstairs a bit inconvenient especially with bags to haul, the room was spacious and clean , jetted tub was awesome, very handy location, our room was next to the main entrance, very noisy with traffic going past, woke us several times during the night, would not recommend this room. Would prefer a downstairs room away from the main entrance will be mindful if I book this hotel again."

"A converted private country villa with an elegant environment. On the highway side, the entrance is small and difficult to find, and it is a bit noisy. The room decoration is relatively simple."

"Friendly staff, room was really small and you can hear a bit of noise next door. All gold apart from this."

"The room was too new; the hotel seems to be run by Indians, as the decor still had a slight odor. Just for your reference, thanks! ☺️"

"I stayed here for three nights and was quite satisfied with all the room facilities, except for the poor sound insulation. I could clearly hear the sound of car engines outside when I was sleeping in the middle of the night. Maybe it was because of the engines of the cars themselves, but it still caused my poor sleep quality. If you are someone who is sensitive to sound and want to stay here, you may want to consider it. In addition, on the afternoon of the second day of my stay, because there was a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on my room door, the housekeeping staff should not have come in to clean. However, I don't know if one of the housekeeping staff didn't see the sign or for some other reason, but she swiped the card to open the door after knocking on the door three times (I didn't answer the door when she knocked because I was in the bathroom and couldn't respond). At first I thought it was the working habit of people here in New Zealand, but the more I thought about it, the weirder it got. So the next day I happened to meet another housekeeping staff and confirmed with her. She said that if there is a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on the guest's door, they will not open the door to enter, but will only take photos for record. The housekeeping staff was also surprised that this happened, and apologized to me on behalf of the housekeeping staff who opened my door, and said that they would report this matter to their manager again, so apart from these two things, I was quite satisfied with this stay."

"The front desk staff were very clear about the room's location and driving directions, even circling it on a map for us. They also turned on the AC/heating before we checked in, which was a very thoughtful touch. We received cookies and milk upon arrival. The room floor wasn't very clean, but the bedding was spotless. The room description stated a 1.51m wide bed when I booked, but it wasn't that wide in reality. The restaurant's food was delicious and the service was excellent. Although it's close to the airport, it's not noisy at all; I didn't hear any airplane noise after checking in."
