"We had a fantastic 3-night stay at Ruzmarin Spa Hotel during May. The hotel is just a couple of years old and is in a beautiful setting in the hills just outside Budva. Absolutely spectacular mountain and valley views wherever you look, a really pretty spot. We had a double room with balcony which felt quite spacious and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, fantastic shower and the views from the balcony were superb. We dined in the on-site restaurant several times, dinner twice and breakfast three times. The food selection is great for a small restaurant, quality was good and the service was excellent with a small, intimate feel of a family run restaurant. The staff were lovely, unbelievably helpful and friendly, most were excellent English speakers too which helped us a lot. Special mention to Nađa (sp?) who handled our check-in (we arrived quite early) and check-out, arranged transport, provided great recommendations and did so with awesome hospitality, in a friendly, kind and mature manner beyond her years. The location is a little out of Budva, we didn't have a car, so it was about 10 minutes in a cab (about 8-10 EUR) or a 40-45 minute walk into the old town. The walk in is down hill, both routes have large sections without a footpath, so you're sharing the road with the cars a bit. The coastal route has a good path for much of the journey, but the road is close, busy and loud. We didn't use the pool, though it was open and looked well maintained. Plenty of chairs and sun-loungers which were popular. There is also a spa and sauna which my partner used and enjoyed. Overall, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet and loved the feel and welcoming environment of a beautiful boutique hotel, we would definitely recommend."

"We only had one night at the Aruba hotel, traveling through the area without a car. Arriving by a car would be a lot easier, but maybe another time. The straff gave us good service and a feeling of being welcome - extra point to the nice receptionist giving us help with taxi booking!"

"We had a wonderful two-week stay. Breakfasts were included and, in my opinion, very tasty. It was a buffet, and I especially loved the wide variety of fruits, particularly the watermelons. The cold cuts and pastries were also fantastic. There was coffee, several types of juices, and about 10 kinds of really delicious teas to choose from. Plus, fresh vegetables and bread. We enjoyed sitting at the outdoor tables with mountain views. The sea was crystal clear, and there was a wonderful beach with an interesting history just a 15-20 minute walk away. There's also a supermarket nearby with a great selection of products. Of course, some might not like the walk along the road to the sea, but then you'd need to choose a pricier, beachfront option, lol. You can always check the location on the map beforehand. You can also walk to Budva if you want, but that's a bit further. We took taxis to other towns. Car rental was also an option. I didn't use the pool; the sea was enough for me, and as I said, it was amazing and within walking distance. But the pool looked quite decent and beautiful. Housekeeping was daily, and towels were changed regularly. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The soundproofing was also a pleasant surprise.
