"This is a very nice hotel. Loved every corner of it. A bit old. But the service and location makes it a nice place to stay. Near shinjo station by bus 20 minutes. It’s a good place to stay if you are going to ginzan onsen. They have shuttle bus to shinjo station from the hotel. They have izakaya inside of the hotel. Staff is great and helpful. We totally recommend it to stay. Awesome views"

"The building is old.
It is a so-called old hot spring inn.
In the beginning of November の Sanlianxiu で Red Yezhen っ Sheng り.
I've got a little price.
I was traveling with my elderly parents and I didn't have a chair in my room, so I called the front desk and brought it to me as soon as I called.
The hot springs are not large, but they were good hot water that warmed well.
３ There is also an open-air bath that can be put in about people.
Dinner was a dining room, but it was quite handy and very satisfied.
It was delicious with a lot of local ingredients.
Especially, the rice was outstandingly delicious with the new rice.
I expected breakfast, but it was normal in the morning.
It is a quiet place where you can only hear the sound of the Mogami River, which is nothing around."

Funagata Station is located approximately 23km away while Yamagata Airport is 62km away. Seeing Okura's sights from this hotel is easy with Jizogura, Hijiori Onsen and Caldera Onsenkan all close by. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. When it comes to Okura hotels, the Hijiori Onsen Otomoya Ryokan is highly regarded for its excellent facilities.
"Always remote rural areas, so travelling time is relatively long.
The hotel facilities are also very complete, basically no need to leave the hotel to buy any daily necessities outside after check-in. The meals are also very rich and delicious. There are two hot springs in the hotel, one public and the other for single use, everyone can use according to their needs, very convenient.
The only downside is that all the hotel staff are only Japanese and it is harder to communicate. I was asked to pay for extra meals when checking out, even when I showed my booking voucher that the room rate was included, they didn't understand, and I had to pay for it when I left. Fortunately, after communicating with trip.com staff, this duplicate payment can be returned. If I can't return it, I really want to cry."
