"I was really happy with how clean the room was. The view from the large window was fantastic; it would be even more amazing on a sunny day. Just a heads-up, only toothbrushes are provided as amenities, so you'll need to bring your own skincare products. The hot spring bath was spacious, and the sauna was also large with an open-air bath, which I think sauna lovers would really appreciate. One downside is that the TV doesn't support streaming services like YouTube. There are USB ports next to the bed, but no USB-C. The bed was neither too soft nor too firm, and I slept really well."

"I have mixed feelings about my stay here. On the positive side, the meals and the Onsen were excellent, and I enjoyed my time overall. However, the check-in process was very unpleasant. I had booked a specific lake-side, western-style room in the East building, but I was provided a room with side view of the lake, rather than direct view that I expected. When I went to the front desk to resolve this, they offered to move me to the Central building (the older section) but insisted on charging me an extra fee. It was only after I presented my original booking confirmation and pushed back on their attempt to charge more for their own error that they agreed to move me to the Central building without the extra fee, claiming they were fully booked and could not provide the specific room I had paid for. And the room in the Central building was quite old and had a leaking water tap."

Outside the large public bath, complimentary drinks are available, along with table tennis and arcade games, adding a playful touch to your relaxation. The lobby features Japanese snacks and board games, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere; the relaxation area on the second floor is even more serene and comfortable – once you sit down, you won't want to leave. The dining experience here is simply sublime. Various alcoholic beverages are kept in ice buckets, freely awaiting wine enthusiasts! Dinner is exquisite and innovative; each dish is a stunning work of art, so delicious that it makes you want to return just for the food. Breakfast is delicate and abundant, awakening your taste buds and setting a wonderful tone for the day. The shiso soda thoughtfully provided in the in-room mini-fridge is incredibly refreshing after a hot spring soak, leaving a lasting, pleasant aftertaste. The toiletries have a delicate fragrance, leaving the skin soft and comfortable after use – even these small details are not overlooked. The overall service is friendly and sincere, without being overly familiar, yet maintaining just the right amount of professionalism. It truly feels like a 'just right' luxury experience! "Along Lake Toya, there's a row of hotels, much like Yangcheng Lake in Suzhou. I chose this one, and it offers great value for money. There were quite a few ********* tour groups staying here. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style and quite extensive, with fresh ingredients. However, don't expect fancy tableware or presentation. I booked a lake-view room, and the small balcony was a nice touch. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, so it's a convenient option if your stay doesn't include meals."

"We stayed at Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention and we were truly impressed. We came for skiing, and the location is perfect — just step out of the hotel and you’re right at the ski slopes. So convenient .⛷️❄️ The room was spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The snowy view from the window made the whole experience even more special. After a full day of skiing, relaxing in the onsen was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect way to unwind and recharge. ♨️✨ The staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful. "Highly recommend! We booked this hotel at the last minute because we were worried our flight might be canceled, fully expecting to just cut our losses if we didn't stay. But wow, what a pleasant surprise! The soundproofing in the room is excellent. Even with a lot of foreigners drinking and being noisy outside that night, we couldn't hear a thing from inside our room. The women's spa even has a separate shower and a door that can be closed for privacy. Superb! The toilet wasn't far from the room either, and it was genuinely clean. The next morning, we picked up some groceries from the nearby supermarket and then headed to Setsu. Perfect!"

"There's no front desk service in the early morning, so this place is more suitable for guests who drive. There are no shops nearby either. However, the view outside the window when you wake up in the morning is absolutely beautiful and puts you in a great mood. The bed is large, but the bathroom and bathtub are a bit old. The jacuzzi function on the tub is broken and unusable."

The main draw is the good value for money, especially with the half-board option (dinner and breakfast included), which is very convenient even if the variety was a bit repetitive. The best part was definitely the outdoor hot spring, and they also have a shuttle bus to Sapporo Station."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Toya. The highlight of the stay was definitely the room and the view. The location is excellent, with stunning views of Lake Toya and the surrounding scenery. Waking up to the lake view and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere was a memorable experience. One of my favorite parts of the hotel was the rooftop onsen and sauna. The view from the top floor is simply incredible. Early in the morning, I was able to enjoy the sauna and outdoor hot spring while watching the sunrise over the lake, with Mount Yotei visible in the distance. It was one of the most relaxing and memorable experiences of my entire Hokkaido trip. It’s not often that you get to enjoy a sauna, a hot spring, and a spectacular sunrise all at the same time. The service was also very good. The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. The food was enjoyable with a wide variety of choices available. The ingredients were fresh and of good quality, and there was something for everyone. While I wouldn’t describe the dining experience as luxury or fine dining, the overall quality was very good and I was satisfied with every meal. Overall, this hotel offers an excellent combination of location, views, comfort, hot spring facilities, and service. It was one of the highlights of my trip to Hokkaido, and I would happily stay here again in the future."

"The room was a good size with a great view of Lake Toya. Someone even came to lay out the futon for us. Dinner felt very special, and the soup was incredibly light and delicious. Breakfast was also very good, with a wide selection at the buffet. The hotel's hot spring was a bit hot, but it was still really pleasant to relax outdoors with the breeze."
