Guest UserI had a really lovely stay at Kora Tigot and would definitely stay again. The apartment itself was honestly beautiful, super clean, thoughtfully designed, and one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in. The styling was gorgeous, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning worked really well, I barely needed to use it because the apartment stayed cool easily. It genuinely made me happy coming “home” there each night.
I booked the mountain view apartment which also overlooked a vacant lot/carpark area, but it was very quiet, got lovely afternoon sun, and wasn’t windy, which I actually appreciated.
The location is a little removed from the main tourist areas of Tenerife, but for me that was actually a positive. It felt calmer and more relaxed. I would recommend getting a hire car from the airport - they are very cheap to rent on the island.
A few small things could improve the experience further:
* The pool closing at 6pm felt quite early, especially in summer.
* It would be great if the hotel considered making it adults-only in future, as I think the atmosphere and style of the property really suit a quieter experience.
* The apartment kitchen was very well equipped in some ways (there was even a stick blender/juicer), but oddly missing some basics like a tea towel, cooking oil, and more than a couple of salt and pepper sachets, coffee sachets.
* The generators outside were also a little noisy at night depending on where the apartment was located.
* Service wasn’t always especially warm or welcoming, although I’m not sure whether this was partly a language/cultural difference rather than intentional.
Overall though, the quality and design of the accommodation really stood out and I’d happily stay here again.

TerryJAfter a tumultuous number of years with family and friends bereavements, we were looking forward to a quiet and peaceful holiday in the sunshine with international and interesting cuisine and company.
We found this here with a fantastic blend of self catering and delicious food from well facilitated restaurants and bars.

Excellent 4 days with my girlfriends. Arrived early, at the hotel they promptly adjusted our arrival and allowed us to leave our heavy luggage, in storage. Always friendly helpful with a smile. Highly recommended value for money. A**osphere everything we desired.
Thank you

A good night in this small hotel in Vilaflor, a very nice small town where you have to walk and lose in its small streets.
The hotel is harmonious and divided into 3 sectors.
The hotel is very comfortable and has a solarium area and sports equipment.
The restaurant room is only a breakfast that is unfortunately finished at 9:30, which is, in my opinion, a little early. Note that some fruits are produced by Finca (pears, apples)
The rooms are viewed to the sea, but to reach its terrace, we are along all the others, which can a little disturb intimacy. I was at the end that did not bother me.
The rooms are modern and designed, my room had a very comfortable large bed. The bathroom is in the same vein, with a beautiful white and black decoration. Unfortunately, during my stay, the water was cold at night and hardly soft in the morning.
The hotel is very comfortable and it is possible to stay in the hotel.
A beautiful address.

Happy ReviewerThe location is too far out for our liking but as we had rented a car, it was fine. We had also read reviews about the location so we expected it. For our rental car we were given a parking slot someone had just parked on so needed it changing. It did not seem like they were enforcing the parking. We were there in December so the weather was pleasant and not too hot to walk down to the Italian restaurant to have dinner. They are friendly at the Italian restaurant and their prices are good. They also went out of their way delivering food to door to our oldest child that had not come out for dinner with us. We did not go to the restaurant on site as the restaurant on site is independent and seemed very catered for the Brits. There is no breakfast available in the mornings on site so if like us, totally unprepared, the supermarket on site is ridiculously expensive and staff not very friendly. First morning we bought everything we needed, after we were prepared and only bought expensive baked goods. We did not try the pools, as the opening hours were extremely short. It would have been better if they'd been early morning till late evening. We heard there was a pool bar. There is a small playground for toddlers. Our house was a good size for a family of 5, allowed to stay 6. We would return because of our odd size family, the terrace and friendly receptionists.

It is a nice resort for a young family. Please note it is quite away from Playa de america beach and on a steep hill. We had our room at the top of the hill, almost felt like going up 4 floors to get to the room. Limited vegetarian options in hot food. This is quite common with any other resort in Canary Islands. So be ready to compromise on it.
We got 4 single beds. If you are a couple who need a double bed, this could be a problem 😉.
Parking is €5 per day although hotel is far away from beaches. This is something they should provide free. No option outside to park due to steep hill.
We requested to move our room lower as my wife has asthma but not much of luck.

It's been 15 years since my last trip to Tenerife and the comments below are based on international five star hotel experiences around the globe.
So here's what I experienced on this reservation:-
Positives
1.Check in / out process fast and professional.
2.Direct beach access via the pool area.
3.Breakfast buffet with internal and external seating choices was excellent.
4.Evening entertainment between 21:00 and 23:00 Hrs was good.
Negatives
1. Allocated R3101 upon arrival and entered to find the bath tub was extremely dirty and required
solvent cleaning to remove large accumulation of water scale dirt around plug area (Approx 200mm
in dia).
Root cause of this problem is a leakage from the shower hose connection which remains to be fixed.
2. TV was on and could not be turned off. This was rectified by Maintenace changing the batteries within
the remote control.
3. Sink plunger mechanism was broken and I was shown how to remove the plug on a daily basis once
housekeeping cleaned the room.
4. Locking mechanism on the balcony sliding door is broken and extremely hard to open / closed.
5. Only one, yes one pool towel provided / guest at the pool via a plastic card that you are required to
exchange at the pool towel bar. If you forget this card it's a return trip to the room.
General Travel Tips.
1. Taxi from TFS Airport to hotel cost 25 Euro each way.
2. Hard Rock Cafe located next door (£££).
3. Great Italian, Thai, Japanese and British restaurants located on the second floor off
the shopping complex across the road from the hotel (££££)

The hotel is clean but the facilities are worn-out. Breakfast is just awful. The stuff is very polite and helpful. The location is fantastic. It was correct for the price, but definitely not a 4-star level. Could be a bit of noise from the road, but the windows are well-isolated. The air-condition works well. Not a bad choice for short stays!

We really enjoyed our stay in Vilaflor 😁 the self check-in was straightforward and our room and the communal areas were very clean. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Vilaflor with plenty of on-street parking available nearby. We found the bed to be comfy and the room to be warm in the evenings. The complimentary tea and coffee was a nice bonus.
As noted in other reviews, the only negative for us was the thin walls separating the upstairs bedrooms which made it difficult to sleep at times.
