"front desk staff was okay,the room madeva very good first impression, but wasn't that good. it was cold, even with the heating running. the bathroom sink leaked. the bedsheets and towels were clean and fresh, but the overall cleaning,especially floor wasn't great. the location is excellent, very central and convenient to find food and shopping. Even i am permanent resident holder with a valid ID they constantly asked me to fill out a registration form for foreigners,which i refused. the staff needs training for the registration process to make it a smoother experience for foreign guests. overall my stay was okay, but i will consider other nearby options in the future."

Ms. Ding, a former tour guide who has extensive experience climbing Huashan mountain, is an excellent source of advice and tips. She provides gloves and hiking poles, eliminating the need for guests to purchase or bring their own. Ms. Ding can conveniently pick you up from the Huashan Bei Station, and she even offers to purchase entrance tickets, cable car tickets, and shuttle bus tickets, ensuring a hassle-free experience. To immerse ourselves in the local culture, Ms. Ding recommends visiting the night market by the river. She even assisted me in placing an order on Taobao when I was unfamiliar with the process. When I was bitten by a bug, she kindly sprayed a soothing liquid on my arm. The hotel offers delicious home-cooked meals, and Ms. Ding and her staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The service is exceptional, and the hotel provides a great place to stay. My room had a stunning view of the mountains, and the top floor of the hotel offers an even more breathtaking view.

I stayed at this mountain hotel for one night before climbing Mount Hua the next day, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. This is a family-run hotel, and the owners go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome. The hotel boss is exceptionally friendly and hospitable, and it is clear that the whole family works hard to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. They were incredibly helpful in providing information about transportation, hiking routes, and other logistics related to visiting Mount Hua. The hotel attracts both Chinese and international travelers, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. They also sell snacks, drinks, and other essentials at very fair prices, which is convenient for hikers preparing for their trip. The rooms and beds were in excellent condition. The hotel is relatively new, and this is reflected in the clean, modern, and cozy rooms. Everything felt well maintained and comfortable. A major advantage is the free pick-up service from the train station. They also help guests get to the tourist center, making the start of the Mount Hua hike much easier and stress-free. The breakfast was delicious and provided a great source of energy before a long day of hiking. Throughout my entire stay, I felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Mount Hua. The outstanding hospitality, comfortable rooms, convenient services, and helpful local advice made my stay a wonderful experience.

The transportation is super convenient; the owner personally picked us up and dropped us off at both the high-speed train station and scenic spots. The room was also very spacious with good facilities. The food ordered at the B&B was delicious, and ordering takeout was also very easy. The only downside was that the sunrise was a bit shy, peeking out only partially.

The interior has the cozy charm of a traditional mountain chalet: warm, welcoming, and full of character. Excellent value for money. The manager personally picked us up from the train station and guided us to the nearby entrance for our Huashan hike, which was incredibly helpful. They also offer in-house meals (pictures), a great option if you prefer to stay in for dinner. The location is ideal right at the foot of the mountain range, with tourist spots and the temple where the middle route to the summit begins all within a 30-minute walk. The surroundings are peaceful and scenic, making it a perfect base for exploring Mount Huashan. Highly recommended for anyone planning a visit.

The homestay is run by a family, with the lady boss leading the crew. She’s pretty much OMO, and it will help if you can speak mandarin. And it explains why she doesn’t pick up calls at times. Me and my wife are Chinese by ethnicity, and we can handle the language, so it helps a lot with the arrangements. Her son picked us up at the train station and brought us to the homestay. It is a 3 storey building, no lifts, but well furnished, and overlook the mountain. Meals are not included in the package, but we purchased her home cooked food during our 2 nights stay. There is a menu for it. She managed to secure cable car tickets for us into Mount Hua after knowing we only got entrance and shuttle bus tickets. She also advised us on buying shuttle bus tickets exiting the mountain to the visitor centre. We bought them without incident on the spot when exiting. Complimentary gloves were provided. And on the actual day, she brought us to the entrance after securing all the cable car tickets. We were picked up by her son in the evening at the end of the trek, with the shuttle bus dropping us at a stop near the homestay. Communication throughout was via WeChat. We checked out the final morning, and she arranged to send us to the train station for us to continue our journey. Our thanks to her and her family for making our visit a smooth, comfortable and enjoyable one. 5 stars.

I stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. The location is a bit far from the city center, but it’s close to the Huashan scenic area, making it perfect if you plan to visit the mountain. If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful environment, this accommodation is an excellent choice. The place feels homely and welcoming. They provide free shuttle services to the Huashan ticket office and the train station, which is very convenient. The common area on the first floor is also very relaxing. Tip: Call the accommodation in advance to arrange a pick-up from the train station. Didi taxi drivers at the station tried to overcharge me, so the free shuttle is a much better option. There is also a small ***** mall near the Huashan ticket office with more shops and restaurants if you need anything.

Had a wonderful vacation here. The accommodation is right by the scenic area's visitor center, and the owner provides convenient pick-up and drop-off services for nearby excursions. It's a bit far from the city center, but the city itself is small, more like a town, with not much to see or do. The main draw is the beautiful scenery, and staying here is very peaceful. The room environment was excellent; the owner even upgraded us to a mountain-view room. It was well-equipped and clean. Their food was also delicious!

The hotel facilities are very good, clean and sanitary, with plenty of hot water for bathing. The boss is a veteran and speaks and acts like a soldier. The location is very good, at the foot of Huashan Mountain and close to the tourist center. The car pick-up and drop-off is very convenient. I strongly recommend staying here.

A family operation, is literally 3-5 mins walk from the Tourist Service Area, where one can purchase the entry ticket and is the entry point to ascend the north peak (including to reach the north peak cable car). If you prefer to hike all the way up instead of cable up, the start of walking trail is slightly more than 30mins walk away but seems like there is a free shuttle bus that would transfer people between this Tourist Service Area and the start of the walk trail. If you come by ”normal” train, you are about 10mins drive away. The husband of the hotel provides a one time service to either pick up or drop off to the train station. I suggest to use it for the latter as you would have hoards of cabbies trying to bring you from station. Currently the area where is the hotel is partially obscured by a major road expansion but don't let the cabby coax you to cancel this booking and move to their recommended hotels in the more touristic ”village centre”. On paper it sounds great but I find most eateries there sell the same choice of food and goods. For food, the wife of the hotel also operates a eatery on the ground floor of the hotel which I find tasty and reasonably priced. Note that this is budget hotel of simple fittings but I personally find of good value for money for a couple of nights after a long day up in the mountain. (I believe parking might be free there too but do check with owner to confirm).

The inn is very close to the Huashan hiking trailhead. The location is very convenient and there are a lot of food nearby. The hotel room is clean and tidy, and the sleep is comfortable. The boss is very enthusiastic and will help us answer any questions we have. I wish the boss a prosperous business
