The hotel's pick-up driver immediately provided an oxygen pillow, which was very reassuring for us first-time visitors to Tibet. 2. The hotel has diffused oxygen supply throughout, which feels very safe. 4. The small convenience store in Sosong Village sells portable oxygen canisters for a reasonable 25 RMB – a great safety net to carry with you when you're out taking photos. 5. The hotel is located right within Sosong Village in the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon scenic area, offering excellent views of Mount Namcha Barwa directly from the rooms. We stayed here for two nights, and we were treated to a full view of Namcha Barwa as soon as we arrived. On the evening before we left, we were blessed with the golden glow of the 'sun-drenched mountain'. Snow-capped peaks, peach blossoms, blue skies, green grass, Namcha Barwa, the Yarlung Zangbo River – what an abundance of good fortune. I'll truly miss this place. It's conveniently located just over 10 minutes from Nyingchi Mainling Airport and offers complimentary pick-up and drop-off services. Nyingchi's altitude is under 3,000 meters, with lush vegetation and ample oxygen, effectively helping to prevent altitude sickness. The high-end amenities and butler service here exceeded my expectations. The butler proactively contacted me to arrange airport transfers, assist with check-in, turn on the underfloor heating in advance, and provide local sightseeing recommendations. The ******* staff were incredibly genuine and warm. The guesthouse also provides a rich breakfast spread, including comforting hot rice noodles.
