"We had a great stay. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful — always ready with a solution whenever we had a question. For example, when we asked about transportation to nearby cities, they quickly made a call and helped us arrange everything with ease. We were also lucky that the owner checked in with us about needing a quiet room (subject to availability), which we appreciated. The room and bed were clean and comfortable, with basic amenities like a small hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel, and toothbrush provided. The beds seem to have a heating mattress for winter. The location is also very convenient: there are restaurants just downstairs, the bus station to other cities is right around the corner, and it’s only a 10-minute walk to the monasteries. Recommended for a simple, pleasant, and well-located stay!"

The biggest surprise of my Gannan trip was this newly opened Sagel Langmu Hotel! There aren't many accommodation options in Langmusi Town, but this new designer hotel immediately caught my eye. I booked it with a 'let's try it out' attitude and truly stumbled upon a hidden gem ✨. It's a new designer hotel, with large windows directly facing the mountains of Langmusi Town. From the window, you can admire the ******* golden-roofed monasteries in the distance. Step outside, and you're surrounded by stunning scenery, with abundant hiking resources nearby. 🌟 Wandering through the mountains of Gannan, watching yaks and sheep graze across meadows, and seeing the sunset paint the mountaintops, this hotel provided a comfortable haven for the journey. I've stayed in many B&Bs and hotels, but it's rare to find one that excels in location, design, hygiene, and self-driving amenities. 🏨 Hotel Experience ✅ Excellent location! The hotel is right next to Langmusi Saichi Temple, on the main street, just a few minutes' walk to the scenic area. From the window, you can directly overlook Langmusi Town and the continuous mountain ranges. Open the window and you'll see ******* golden-roofed monasteries, grasslands, and strange peaks. The large windows in the room offer expansive views, allowing you to quietly enjoy the clouds drifting through the mountains. Occasionally, you can spot monks walking on the distant slopes, creating a truly immersive mountain atmosphere. Nearby, there are plenty of restaurants and small shops, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also easy to plan a Gannan loop tour to places like the First Bend of the Yellow River and Labrang Monastery. ✅ Room quality is outstanding. The Tibetan-style design is elegant and timeless. The large floor-to-ceiling windows provide abundant natural light, allowing you to gaze at the distant mountains and flowing clouds right from your bed. The wall colors are very well-designed, with warm wooden decor paired with ******* soft furnishings, creating a clean yet textured feel. The biggest concern when staying at high altitudes is lack of oxygen; this room is equipped with atomized oxygen supply, coupled with a deep sleep mattress and memory foam pillow, ensuring a good night's rest after a long journey. The smart toilet is a nice added detail. ✅ The surrounding area is great for hiking. "We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were really comfortable and the room was spacious and had everything you'd need. But what stuck out the most was the helpfulness and kindness of the couple working there that I've rarely experienced before: When we arrived, we were a bit hit by the altitude and they helped us out with oxygen pillows. Moreover, they kept our luggage for almost two days as we went on a horse trek, provided an additional heater and also helped us arrange a convenient transport to our next destination. Would definitely recommend!"

"The room has a great location! It's right in the center of Langmusi Town, only about 800 meters from Langmusi Temple. The commercial street of Langmusi Town is right downstairs, making life very convenient."

"The room is clean and hygienic, and there is an oxygen room. The most worrying thing about going to the plateau is the high reaction. The first time I slept so well at night. The oxygen room is recommended! The oxygen effect is great! "Hotel is super clean and conveniently located. Important to note actual location is between a Muslim restaurant and bank, not next to the post office. It took some time before the owner came back to the inn to process our check in. Note that in Gannan, there are questions of where you are from, where you are going, purpose of travel. Also need a contact number. The owner helped to bring up the luggage to our room. There is no lift, rooms are on second floor. The whole place is new and very clean. We love the room layout, sink outside and separate toilet and bathroom. Beds are super comfortable. There is a heater and heating pads for both beds. Owner provided a platter of fruits, which was very nice. He also told us where to go for food as I am vegetarian. The next door Muslim restaurant has good food and quite a few veg options. The location is superb near supermarkets, banks, shops and walking distance to tourist sites. Minus points for difficulty in locating the owner, a bit of smell from the toilet drain, plus we are advised not to flush toilet paper, asked to throw it in a bin."

The front desk staff was gentle and courteous, the procedures were efficient and fast, and took the initiative to upgrade our room type, and recommended us a good place to play and eat around, very warm heart. The first time I opened the room, I was surprised by the cleanliness. The whole house was cleaned in detail. The corners, windowsills, and bathroom corners were cleaned up. The bedding was soft and fluffy, and the fatigue disappeared instantly when I lay down. The room has plenty of lighting, the layout is spacious and not depressing, the air conditioning, TV, bathroom and other facilities are running smoothly, there is no fault, the sound insulation is very good, it will not be disturbed by the outside world at all, and sleep peacefully all night. The overall environment of the hotel is clean and elegant, the public areas are well organized, quiet and livable, convenient to travel, and the surrounding facilities are complete. "When I came, I went to the wrong intersection. The parking lot was at the entrance of the hotel. When I walked here, the hotel was almost the same. There was no elevator. The curtains were a bit broken, but the thick layer was still covered. The sound insulation effect was not good. I felt that the sound in the yard was very clear at night, which affected the rest. Paper and toiletries are not bad, the proprietress is still very enthusiastic"

However, this time I met a very kind boss. As soon as he saw our situation, he rushed out of the store and carried my grandmother on his back without hesitation. 😂 Although it was only four short flights of stairs, it brought me infinite warmth during my long journey."
