"It's a bit strange; it claims to be a family-friendly hotel, yet it lacks bed rails. Other children's amenities, however, are quite complete.
As a five-star hotel, looking at customers while speaking is basic, right? The receptionist, Chen Xiaomei, was expressionless and had a terrible attitude; she didn't even look up when I spoke to her. After checking in, I wasn't satisfied with the room type and asked Chen Xiaomei if I could pay for an upgrade. She didn't even look up and simply said there were no rooms available. I checked Ctrip, and there were still many rooms available. Clearly having rooms available, yet refusing to allow customers to pay for an upgrade and failing to communicate with customers is extremely incompetent. This service is worse than a 50 RMB restaurant down the mountain.
My takeout arrived, but I wasn't in the room at the moment. I told the front desk I'd deliver it in five minutes. Three minutes later, I returned to the room to find a robot waiting at the door—I was helpless. The front desk really seems like a makeshift operation.
I found a huge ant on the bed.
The doorman, cleaning lady, and restaurant staff were all very friendly. I've also seen several complaints about the front desk on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform). It hasn't improved after all this time; maybe the front desk staff are all people with connections."

This homestay is simply great, you must give a big praise!
As soon as I arrived at the homestay, I was attracted by its environment. The yard was full of green plants and flowers, which was vibrant and like a paradise. The rooms are warm and elegant, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, so that people can sleep well all night. The sanitation is also very clean, even the bathroom has no smell, and the details are full of care.
The facilities of the homestay are also very complete, and smart appliances are very convenient to use. The rooms are on the second floor. There's a bedroom, a small living room, and a toilet. The sleeping room has two beds and is okay, but the lighting is poor, and the soundproofing is also bad. The table in the room is very unstable and wobbly, making it unusable.
There's a balcony on the second floor. The view is quite nice in the morning, and you can stargaze at night when all the village lights are off. However, the chairs on the balcony are broken and unusable.
This room is slightly better than the family room, but I recommend choosing the cheaper room type, which has better lighting.
The owners are very welcoming. You can eat snacks and have tea downstairs.

Red lanterns are hung high here, and every household puts up Spring Festival couplets during the Chinese New Year. It is a village that pays attention to folk culture. I stayed in Ziyang Academy for two nights. The academy is clean and bright, with flowers and fruit trees in the yard. Every detail is the result of years of accumulation. The academy's owner and his wife cooked a New Year's Eve dinner with the residents, stayed up all night to celebrate the New Year, and bought fireworks for us to set off together. There were also continuous fireworks in the village, and the sound of firecrackers was ringing to celebrate the New Year! Hope to have the opportunity to go again.

Very friendly staff and a large clean room. I was given unlimited water which was nice as I was there for a race. There is a yearly Guang Zhou Shan marathon which I was there for and this is the perfect spot as it's just 5mins walk to the race pack collection and starting line the next morning

Guest UserWe booked the wrong dates, but the owner still booked us a room right away. Luckily, it wasn't a holiday; they'd probably be fully booked during holidays. There weren't many rooms, and each one had a unique name and a stone wall panel painting. The room was clean, and the bath towels were especially dry, making it feel very comfortable and hygienic.
