The hotel is located in the heart of Guanglong Town, very close to the lake, wetlands park, and Red Sand Beach, making it convenient for both driving and leisurely strolls. The room decor is simple yet elegant, with great natural light and a comfortable view from the balcony. The cleanliness was impeccable, even for germaphobes like me. Service was prompt and friendly, and the breakfast offered a rich selection. It's truly great value for money. Just quietly gazing at the lake view and unwinding, the vacation vibe was absolutely perfect. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Fuxian Lake."

Our third-floor room offered fantastic views, and enjoying a BBQ takeout on the balcony at night really elevated our entire vacation experience. What really made it great was that it wasn't crowded this past weekend, which was a plus. The main pool water was a bit murky, but the kids' pool temperature was just right, so the little ones had no problem enjoying themselves. For facilities, it would be even more thoughtful if they provided a small step stool for kids to reach the sink, as we had to move chairs around in the room. Overall, it was excellent, and I'll definitely bring my kids back again when I have the chance."

"The hotel has a stylish appearance, and the key is the beautiful view from the balcony. It is indeed a lake view room. In particular, I want to praise the head chef in the kitchen. I forgot my scarf in the restaurant. It was already noon when I went back to pick it up. Seeing that we hadn’t eaten yet, the head chef asked us to eat some of their work meals together, and said that in case of a car accident , it’s really a long way to go, but you can help us send it, I’m very touched. Many thanks. It is very convenient to visit nearby and the park is particularly beautiful and worth a visit."

"This time, the service and environment were both online. The front desk checked me in efficiently and offered me a thoughtful welcome tea. The lobby has a nice fragrance and a nice environment. When I walked into the room, it was clean and tidy, and the bed was soft and comfortable, which completely exceeded my expectations. "We initially booked a guesthouse for our first night at Fuxian Lake, but upon arrival, we found the environment less than ideal and the room quite disappointing. We promptly cancelled the next two nights and booked the Xiyuan Hotel instead. Located in Guanglong Town, while the lake view wasn't as good as some hotels and guesthouses near Moon Bay (it's farther from the lake), the surrounding area was incredibly convenient. There were many restaurants nearby serving the famous stone pot fish, and Xingguang Hotel was within walking distance. Parking was free.
Most importantly, the room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom even played music automatically during the shower – so fun! Staying at Xiyuan was definitely the right decision!"

"An old five-star hotel with good facilities and services, and a high cost-effectiveness (I wonder if the low price is because April is the off-season). The lobby is grand and the facilities are not old. In the evening, two people ordered a copper pot fish, fresh live fish and a large plate of vegetables (I don’t know what kind of fish it is, it’s quite fresh). I tried hard to finish the fish and my stomach was full. The waitress was also very warm and thoughtful. Except that you can’t see the lake from the room, everything is good haha."

The breakfast environment is very good, and the food is basically complete, including dumplings, wontons, noodles and rice noodles. The restaurant opposite the hotel has ”stone pot fish”, which is a local specialty. I suggest that friends who have time must try it."

"Stepping into the room felt instantly relaxing, just like coming home! The design is cozy, and the bedding is so soft I didn't want to get out of bed. The host even prepared a local guide for us, even pointing out great local eateries and helping us avoid tourist traps. The environment is warm and comfortable, with excellent facilities, making it truly feel like a home away from home. The cleanliness is impeccable, and service responses are prompt. The room's decor is exquisite and stylish, spotless, and the bedding is wonderfully soft for a good night's sleep. The host thoughtfully provided a guide and answered all our questions instantly. Getting around from here is convenient, it's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, truly healing and comforting. There's also a cafe on the first floor, 'Yiliyun Cafe,' which captures the essence of Yunnan throughout the seasons. This guesthouse was an unexpected treasure during our trip!"

"Facilities: Quite comprehensive, but unfortunately, due to the weather, the children's pool was closed.
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy.
Environment: The lobby is bright and very quiet, and there are even live singers in the evening.
Service: We're grateful to the staff for upgrading our room. Their service was consistently friendly and they promptly responded to and resolved our issues.
Since we were traveling with children, the staff thoughtfully provided kids' toiletries, a footstool, and a bed rail. There was also a mermaid show in the lobby, which kept the kids thoroughly entertained at the hotel!"

This is my second time staying at this B&B. Let me tell you about my experience. [Public Area Style] The decoration style of this B&B is both modern and classical. It combines Chinese and Japanese aesthetics. Whether it is the handrail design of the stairs, the color and material of the walls, or the long tables and chairs and lamps in the restaurant, they are all full of unique creativity. [Room Style] The room is not big, the layout is compact, and the dry and wet areas are separated. There is a big bed facing the window. The room on the 4th floor overlooks Fuxian Lake and also has an angle to watch the sunrise and sunset. The room is clean and tidy, with warm tones, and it feels like home. [Talk about coffee] The store has latte and Americano. The boss recommended the tamarind latte. It is not the kind of strong taste that can be tasted as soon as you drink it. Instead, it has a slightly sour and sweet feeling. It tastes very good. [Talk about the boss] The boss is very enthusiastic, good-looking, and has good clothes. It can be said that the store is like the person, and the person is like the store. Not only can he recommend fun places, but he is also very good at playing games. It turns out that he is a game engineer. I am sorry. [Finally, let me talk about the location] The homestay is on the north bank of Fuxian Lake, close to Kunming and Chengjiang City. I had a wonderful time at Fuxian Lake. The location of the hotel was perfect, just 5-10 min walking to the lake. It was nice to just walk along the lake but it is also convenient to take didi to places that are a bit too far for walking. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were very friendly I even got an upgrade to a bigger room. If I was visiting Fuxian Lake again, I would definitely stay again at XiaXia Hotel!

I would highly recommend everyone to book this apartment hotel. Every details matter and the service / hospitality is beyond excellence. The hotel owner is always reachable and they even rescued me when I could not book a taxi from the mountain at night. Most importantly, the apartment is spacious, clean, family-friendly and immensely comfy. The location is also awesome, can easily travel to everywhere.

The hotel is located on the mountain in Xiaowan Village. It has a traditional Chinese garden style and is unique against the ”Santorini style” of other B&Bs. The small courtyard of the B&B is beautifully maintained and the rooms are clean and tidy. It is also convenient to eat in the surrounding Xiaowan Village. Before leaving, I was given a succulent tree as a gift, which made the children very happy.

The hotel environment and facilities are quite good. We booked a lake view room, which has beautiful scenery both at night and during the day. The scenery from the floor-to-ceiling windows is amazing. There are a lot of food downstairs in the hotel, which is very convenient. At first I was worried that I would have to walk a long way to find food. After arriving at the hotel, there was a row of food stalls on the first floor and outside. Opposite the hotel is the Moon Wetland, so you don't have to walk far to get there. It's very convenient. I will book this hotel again next time I go!
