The boss and the proprietress are very enthusiastic, the communication is timely and smooth, and the guidance before and after check-in is also very clear, which makes people feel very at ease. The public area has a large space, with small fish ponds, two tiger skins in the backyard, and multiple tea tables, especially the rooftop rooftop. The view is wide. The location of this hotel is perfect. Just a few steps from the front door, through an arch and there you have an idyllic view of the river, bridge, the beautiful architecture, market traders, a mill wheel, wonderful night lights, cafes.etc. The hotel is in a beautiful old house with lovely courtyards. There are lots of steps but the hotel owner kindly carried my case and met me from my taxi. You need a ticket to enter the old town which the owner helped me organise; i coukd not arrive by taxi and just go to the hotel. The view from the room was very nice. There were mosquitos so you should remember your plug in repellent. There was a tea service in the room but no tea

Very close to Qianxing Square, the guesthouse is in the style of an old house, very cozy. The flowers and plants in the courtyard and the balcony are beautifully decorated. I loved curling up on the sofa, relaxing and unwinding – it was so comfortable and pleasant. The owner was very kind and recommended more suitable itineraries based on my arrival time, and could also help arrange shared transportation. I originally booked a first-floor room, but because it was the off-season and I was the only guest, I was upgraded to the second floor. The small staircase had a retro feel. The owner even helped take photos upon arrival; their photography skills were excellent. Overall, the stay was very comfortable. The only downsides were that the room was a bit small (maybe it was related to the room type I booked), the mattress was a bit hard, the bathroom light was a bit dim, and the soundproofing wasn't great. The owners and their family are friendly and welcoming; they even personally picked us up from the parking lot and helped with our luggage. The ambiance is rustic and elegant. The restaurant is right at the main entrance, and the food and portions are quite good, especially the roast chicken. The only downside is that the rooms are near the road and not very quiet, but there's a terrace where you can enjoy tea, read, relax, and admire the mountain views. The decor is also very warm and artistic. Before we left, they even gave us a local specialty: vermicelli—a truly heartwarming gesture.

The price-performance ratio is not high. A room like this with more than 700 yuan is not worth it.

The owner was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, going above and beyond to help us arrange transportation and book our scenic area tickets in advance. Her mother was also incredibly hospitable and has a real green thumb, keeping the inn's courtyard looking absolutely beautiful. I would absolutely choose this inn again on my next visit to Huangyao.

This trip to Hezhou mainly focused on Huangyao Ancient Town. I chose this guesthouse located within the town. It was relatively easy to find; if you're unsure of the location, the security guard can easily point you in the right direction. Perhaps due to the recent rain, I encountered quite a few small insects while staying on the top floor. For eating, drinking, entertainment, and exploring Huangyao, this guesthouse is a good choice. Overall, I was quite satisfied.
