The chef put a lot of effort into the dinners; I stayed four nights and never had the same dish twice, and the ingredients were always fresh! Going to the public pool while soaking and looking at the sea was incredibly relaxing. I'm so glad I chose this relaxing hotel. They also offer complimentary illy coffee and ice cream every day. Highly recommended! 👍"

"We used this hotel to celebrate my mother's 99th birthday and my sister's 70th birthday. The food was truly Himi-quality! We were very satisfied with the fresh sashimi and the elaborate dishes that kept coming one after another. I secretly ordered a cake in advance and had it delivered to the hotel on the day of our stay, and my mother and sister were delighted with the surprise. The location was also fantastic; we could see the sea change color from sunset and the sunrise rising over the ocean was amazing. We would love to come back again."

"It’s a beautiful place to stay with decent amenities. But do note, there’s only one bus line to get there, so it’s not convenient unless you are driving. Resort is cleaned daily. Self-check in was a little confusing, as there is no staff manning the area at night. But staff was very responsive by email. There was a group of travellers who were very noisy (shouting across the house) and did not use the onsen in the proper way, making it dirty."

Although it said there was a sauna, there wasn't one (in the women's bath), and the open-air bath didn't even have any water in it, which was disappointing.
