Travelodge Hexham
"Our stay at the Hexham Travelodge has honestly been the best experience we have had from all other Travelodge facilities in the country, and we have stayed at many while travelling around England. This enjoyable stay has been due to the wonderful staff and their pleasant attitude to customers and the hard work they strive to keep the hotel facilities in tip top condition and cleanliness. Our pet dog also says thanks for the breakfast sausages."

The Railway Hotel
"We stayed in the Radcliffe room.It was comfortable and clean although the bathroom was very small. The staff went above and beyond though and nothing was a bother. The cooked breakfast was nice and the bar is nice and clean.Would give it a go if your looking for somewhere to stay in the area."
Bay Horse Inn - B&B
"The hotel in the small town has a bar downstairs where many locals go to drink. The breakfast is delicious."
The Beaumont Hexham
"Bed very low and hard bedhead curved so pillows fall down behind. Breakfast advertised 17.50 when went they charged you for individual items which turns out very expensive. Parking only 7 cars free in underground carpark. Bar has awful draught beer if you like beer with lemon flavour your ok. Asked for sofa bed for other guest when arrived not set up or bedding. After paying alot of money for 1 night stay thought ot wd be good. Sorry but i would not book this hotel again"
The Coach and Horses
"Well located and with knowledgeable staff. My room was small, but tasteful and comfortable. What I didn’t like was the fact the “bar” spilled over onto the pavement in front and to get to the reception we had to weave through some rather inebriated customers with all the accompanying shouting and swearing. The noise was very audible from my father’s bedroom in the front - thankfully we were staying on a Sunday so he was not kept up. Given the substantial beer garden in the rear I think they would do well to scrap the tables at the front as it lets the accommodation down both in terms of first impressions and guest experience."

Fountain Cottage Cafe and B&B
"Second stay here and the best so far as we had a great room, jacuzzi with TV. Clean, cosy and friendly with a top breakfast."
The Twice Brewed Inn
"We stayed here because there was an event hosted by the place and it was very convenient just near the hotel. The tour itself was clean, but it was really small so it was hard to move around. However, everything else is OK."
The Bowes Hotel
"A simply amazing stay. Firstly Ian and his team helped us remedy an error made by ******* on booking rooms at the Bowes hotel. Really friendly and interpersonal staff along with extensive knowledge of the area and further beyond particularly Hadrian's Wall path along with the Roman Museums and Forts. The food served was amazing aswell, better than some other independent restaurants, also the Thai-cakes are a must try! The room is clean and tidy with a great buffet breakfast to boot, they also make lunch for your journey ahead. If you are staying at Bardon Mill, this is the place to be, just a walk away from the station that connects back to Newcastle. Friendly neighbourhood and locals that shares stories from their journeys and also fellow travellers from around the world mostly doing the Hadrian's Wall walk. I cannot fault this wonderful and cosy hotel and pub that is the Bowes Hotel!"
Shaftoes Guest House
"We spent five superb nights at this amazing B&B. Lois & David are the perfect hosts and go out of their way to make everyone’s stay perfect. Every little touch is carefully thought about, it’s spotlessly clean and breakfasts are beautifully cooked, very generous portions & extremely well presented. Thank you so much for making our stay with you so special, we loved your cosy B&B & hope to return in the future."

Anchor Hotel
"The room is very old and the bathroom facilities are very poor. It is not recommended to stay here."
The Queens Arms Hotel
"Excellent food (the apple crumble is divine) and great rooms, the couple are friendly and wonderful hosts. Close to a bunch of great heritage sites. The local area is beautiful and great for hiking. Also, nice view of sheep being fed as you eat breakfast. 10/10, would stay again."
Rye Hill Farm
"booked a two night break with a voucher and had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful and quiet so had a very good sleep in a comfortable bed and pillows. Room large with a big bathroom with lovely fluffy white towels and nice complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was really tasty and good options with homemade bread and preserves also. Elizabeth the owner was very welcoming and a lovely lady who made sure you had everything you needed. Very good location just outside Hexham and Corbridge which we visited and enjoyed and not too far from Beamish which again we visited. Would definitely recommend and if in the area would book again which I'm certain we will. Thank you Elizabeth and hopefully see you again soon."
The County Hotel
"Great hotel couldnt do enough for you lovely meals room excellent well recommended"
Hollybush Inn
"We stayed at the HollyBush as we were working near by. We had a wonderful stay, the Manager and team were so hospitable, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of hot water. We kitchen isn't open every night, but the suggested and booked somewhere else for us to eat. When the kitchen is open, I would definitely recommend - lovely food, big portions and you have to have the chocolate pudding - never had anything like it! Thanks to the Holly Bush team for making us so welcome."
