Premier Inn Hayle ★★★

"Myself and wife booked a short trip away after myself being unwell of late we opted for an early check in and when we arrived was told our room was ready 207 couldn’t of been further away from reception however this wasn’t the main issue when going into the room it didn’t appear to be as clean as we’ve expected from premier inns bed looked untidy whole room was dusty and dull bed not pulled up and smears all over the mirrors and then we discovered a dirty towel left behind the door We return to reception Jamie was lovely and said she would make sure someone cleaned the room while we were out for the day we did ask to be moved but was told this wasn’t possible On returning back to the hotel later in the evening re-entered the room only to discover the bed still looked untidy the smears were still all over the mirror the dirty towel had indeed been removed, but no clean towels were put in the place of it. I wasn’t feeling great so my wife went back to reception and spoke with sara who was extremely apologetic was writing down everything we had problems with to pass onto other members of staff my wife mentioned at this point about my mobility issues sara had a look through her list and discovered we could swap rooms to 111. She even went up to show my wife before we agreed to make sure we would be happier here. This room only had one flight of stairs and was much closer to the main door making this easier for me to access. After a shower we returned to the desk to thank sara as what started off terrible we felt she listened and actioned our problems immediately. She also offered advice on local places to eat Talay Thai in St Ives and trevaskis farm a short drive from the hotel much better than the brewers fayre adjacent, thank you to sara again you really turned our stay around"

Chalet 3 Wipeout ★★★

The Cornubia Inn ★★★

"There are buses from Hayle train station. The staff were friendly. The room was right above the bar, and luckily it was a Monday night when I checked in, so there were only a couple of other guests! Aside from the sound of cars passing by outside, I didn't hear any noise from the bar. The room was clean, and both single beds were comfortable. The showerhead had good water pressure."

The Star Inn ★★★

"Came here twice while on holiday. The hunters chicken was cooked perfectly and my nan and grandad had fish and chips. We also came for the Sunday roast and the meat was good. We all cleared our plates. There are lots of choices on the menu. You get a good portions for your money."

Travelodge Hayle ★★★

"I stayed at Travelodge, Hayle after a trip of almost 500 miles to collect some machinery. The lady on reception was lovely, very helpful, chatty and a joy to meet. My room was very nice, clean and comfortable, which allowed me to have a very good nights sleep in order to get an early start to cover the 500 miles back home. Next time I am down that way I will definitely stay again. Clive Nicholson"

St Ives Bay Beach Resort ★★★

"Two bedroom cabin was warm. Some mould on the roof in the main bedroom, flaking paint in areas and pretty grubby kitchen curtain. Very spacious bathroom area and towel warmer was lovely."

Little Pengelly Farm ★★★★

"What an absolute little gem. We were so lucky to find this amazing B&B. Robert made us very welcome despite our late arrival. The room was immaculate, breakfast was perfect, all staff really friendly. The setting is quiet and peaceful just what we needed. Lots of recommendations for places to visit and eat. We will certainly return."

Gwithian Holidays ★★★

"Well maintained, spotlessly clean, generous accommodation with parking, close to centre of village and only a short walk from long sandy beach. Good base to explore further afield too with easy access to A30."

The White Hart Hotel ★★

"Writing review on behalf of 4 pensioners who went for Sunday lunch. Service was appalling, waited over an hour for their meal. Seems waitress looked after friends n regulars before them as others got their meals before them, despite arriving later! No veggie option offered. No oap discount even though advertised. Sad as they go out every Sunday for lunch and they live in hayle so local too!! They are writing a letter of complaint, let's hope someone listens...sad"
