"Have stayed here several times and will visit again! Good hotel in convenient location. Reasonably priced with lovely helpful staff. Nice bar area in foyer. Room was clean and to a good standard. Bathrooms are a little dated but spacious and with a nice powerful shower. Room sizes do vary a lot."

"I've stayed at a few Holiday Inns along the way, and the one in Cambridge didn't have air conditioning, which made me a bit nervous. But this one was fine; the AC worked great, though it wouldn't turn off unless you unplugged it 😂. The surrounding area seems to be a gathering place for people from the Middle East, which was a little unsettling 😓. The food around here is also predominantly Middle Eastern style. My son found a Japanese restaurant about 1.6 miles away, which was pretty good, just a bit of a walk. At breakfast, we ran into a group of Chinese middle school students on a study tour from Xi'an, which was quite interesting. The location is close to Eton College and Windsor Castle. Windsor Castle is definitely worth a visit."

"I stayed at Travelodge Watford Central for two nights with my family. Unfortunately, my experience with the service was very disappointing. Communication at reception was difficult and not very welcoming. Even though I paid for both breakfast and dinner, no one clearly explained how the food service worked. When I went down for dinner, I was told the wait would be around 45 minutes, but I ended up waiting nearly two hours. The food arrived burnt and was not enjoyable, so I didn’t eat it. I also had an issue when trying to pay extra for food, as the card payment was not working and there was no flexibility or alternative offered, which made the situation even more stressful. However, I would really like to highlight Anna from the housekeeping team. She was very friendly, helpful and made me feel looked after, which I really appreciated. Her attitude and care really stood out. Thank you Anna – you made a difference during my stay."
