"The relaxed and friendly atmosphere is the perfect way to start a safari. We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed the good food and Tanzanian hospitality. I would highly recommend a stay here at the beginning or end of your adventures. The food was great, a good selection of local beer, unfortunately no tonic water for a gin and tonic but the wine was a good substitute. We were picked up at the airport very early in the morning by the complimentary shuttle that then took us back to the airport a couple of days later to meet up with our tour. Thank you Kia Lodge."

"Stayed here before and after climbing Kilimanjaro. The staff is extremely helpful and they offer great service. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and have great AC. All beds have mosquito nets (although I have not seen any mosquitos). The on site restaurant offers a great selection of dishes; I have eaten there 5 times and all dishes were delicious. The hotel is attached to and all proceeds support a middle school. I highly recommend a stay here."

"An eco hotel located in the rural area of Sanya Juu, close to Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The rooms are located under trees, giving the place a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are very spacious, including the bathroom and are clean. The service is good, and the food is good. There is Wifi and a pool. If looking for a quiet hideout, this is the place to be. "Great hotel with nice garden and pool and very friendly staff. Rooms are large enough to sort out the stuff we need to take to climb Kilimanjaro. They keep your luggage until you return. The only negative is that they let outside people come enjoy the pool or rent the space for weddings. Can be disturbing but you can also see it positively, great local vibe"

We had great time staying at the property and would definitely visit anytime we are around. - The manager of the property hosted us to lots fun."
