It was very noisy outside until after 10 PM, showing no regard for the customer's feelings. Not a recommended stay."

"The room itself was fine, but when I arrived in the evening the curtains had been left open with the sun coming through the glass on an extremely hot day, which meant the room was far too hot and there was no air conditioning and no fan. Care should be taken in heatwaves to cool rooms as much as possible by at least closing the curtains during the day."

"I stayed for one night, the check in is only after 16:30 when the bar opens. I had a room on the road side, which was hot and stuffy. They provided a fan which was noisy! I thought the shower facilities were scruffy and in need of updating. The shared toilet at my end of the hotel ran out of toilet paper. There is a Chinese takeaway next door and a convenience store on the other side. It’s about a 10 min walk into the center of the town. To be fair I have stayed in better places for less. I couldn’t recommend it as I didn’t see any positives."

"We recently hosted a private dining event at Allington Manor and it really was perfect. Leo & Amy are wonderful hosts and their hotel is beautiful, even more so after its recent redecoration. Catering courtesy of Damein Greslin was top notch, wonderfully tasty and fully gluten free. The service run by Lesley and her team pulled together the evening beautifully and ensured the whole event went off without a hitch. In sum, believe all of the reviews - Allington Manor really is as good as people say it is!"
