"There is really nothing special about the city of Gori, except for the Stalin Museum. We drove down from Kazbek and stopped by to rest for a night. The breakfast is really average and the service staff in the breakfast room are rather indifferent."

"Gori Apartments is centrally located and easy to walk abouts in Gori. The rooms are well lit and clean. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Stalin museum and several other museums are nearby as well as Stalin Park, Gori Fortress and The Memorial of The War Heroes. It is a mere 20 minutes drive to the scenic Uplistsilkhe cave city. There are also mearby eateries and supermarket. Overall Gori Apartments has friendly staffs especially a very capable and helpful gentleman at reception who helped with the check out and assist with booking a car sharing ride to Tsibilisi. Kudos to the great service!!"

"Having been in Tbilisi for 5 days, I had planned to travel into the Georgian provinces to get a feeling for small town Georgia. I was looking for an authentic home stay to experience traditional Georgian hospitality. My stay at Anna’s place fulfilled everything that I imagined. Although I only stayed one night and we spoke in broken English and Russian, Anna made me feel at home as soon as I walked through the door. After I dropped my bags to go to the Stalin Museum and explore Gori, I arrived back late around 9pm. She cooked a lovely soup for me, offered me coffee, homemade wine and we sat down to chat. The next morning I was up early to get the train and she prepared breakfast (including homemade honey cake) and sorted out my taxi.
