Hesla Farm ★★★

"The Hesla Farm is one of the most charming hotels anyone could ever visit. Knut and Livia Hesla are the perfect hosts who create the most peaceful and welcoming experience for their guests. It is like going back in time to Norway of the 1600’s with its lovely stabburs and little guest houses that make you feel like you are in a dream. They have taken old world charm and combined it with modern conveniences for a memorable stay. It is the perfect blend of comfort and charm. Hesla Farm exudes tranquility in the midst the bucolic mountains of Hallingdal. Their lovely farm is filled with original antiques that come right from the farm itself which dates back to 1573. Livia is a master chef who creates the most scrumptious and creative epicurean delights. Being at Hesla Farm feels like home because of the warm and loving atmosphere that Knut, Livia, and their staff weave for their guests. Attention is given to every detail of your stay. It is all carefully chosen to create that feeling of warmth and love. From the soft music played in their charming dining room and the way they creatively display your meal to the most adorable and cozy accommodations, there is so much love and thought which goes into it all. This is truly an adventure which you will remember as a special experience on any trip you take to the beautiful Hallingdal valley."

Ustedalen Hotel Geilo ★★★★

"There's a ski resort right across from us, but the slope and length look terrible. I don't understand why it's a tourist destination; they're so ignorant. The only ridiculous thing is that you have to pay 150 kronor a day to rent their sheets. Who brings their own sheets when they travel? There's a fairly spacious underground parking garage inside."

Geilo Hotel ★★★

Fagernes Camping ★★★★
