"I had trouble checking in and had to get help from the bar staff who were very helpful The bedrooms were a bit on the small side for 2 people, there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms and it was very hot weather. The breakfast menu was adequate. We did not have dinner at the hotel. The bottom step on the main stairway had no markings on the edge, and one of my party fell down that step on 2 occasions. Fortunately he was not injured, but the matter needs redressing. We pointed it out to one of the bar staff who said he would pass on the comment. The staff were very pleasant at all times."

"Clean, quiet, comfortable spacious bedroom. We were only there to sleep as we were at a Wedding elsewhere all day. I would stay again."

Premier Inn Gloucester (Quayside)

"Location good and central, staff awful, didn’t care at all. When checking in 1 member of staff at reception we couldn’t get self checkin to work properly she came over and did t have a clue. Breakfast was an absolute joke, no one to check our room number, when they did they were on their phone. No mugs,”oh we have been busy I will wash some up “ no plates for continental, 1 Alice of brown bread 1 crumpet, no milk for cereal the list goes on. When mentioned to staff a lot of eye rolling no apology Worst place I have Stayed and it wasn’t cheap AVOID at all costs"

Premier Inn Gloucester (Longford)

"Needed somewhere for a one night stop. I arrived by car, the Premier Inn was easy to find on the north side of Gloucester with plenty of free parking (just need to register your vehicle number at reception). Room was clean and comfortable. In the evening we walked towards the cathedral and docks - took about half hour. We had Premier Inn breakfast in the adjoining restaurant the next morning - we had a nicely cooked English breakfast which we ordered on arrival and which was served to our table, plus a good choice of cereals, yoghurts, toast etc which you could help yourself to at the buffet. Reception and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again"

"We booked this on spec as we were in Gloucester and decided to stay the night instead of just the day. I have to say, this was a real find. Easy to book (only booked 1½ hours before check-in) and right on the docks. The apartment was very clean and had everything you could want. The shower was unusual and took a bit of working out and the hot water was intermittent but as it was 28º outside on the day that didn't really worry us too much. If we came back to Gloucester this would be the first place we would look at to stay."
