"Stayed for 4 nights in a double bed room and we loved our stay. The room was spacious, the amenities included the standards you'd expect and thr extras you want like a mini-fridge. The hotel and room was clean and the hotel staff did a great job keeping them clean each day. The air con worked great to combat the heat and was adjustable. The breakfast was excellent, big selection of cakes and pastries, the hot section is essentially just eggs and bacon but it's all you need. Personal favourite was the toppings available like the pistachio creme pump. The pool was a good size for relaxing and kept clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful, I cant stress that enough, they spoke between fluent to basic English. The Mancunian owner herself really went above board with dinner recommendations even offering to taxi our group places, we cannot thank her enough. Would 100% recommend this hotel."

"From the moment I arrived at the Etna Hotel, the reception staff set the tone with a warm welcome and genuine helpfulness. Every question was answered with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble. I chose to eat in the hotel’s restaurant every night of my stay – and I’m so glad I did. The two people running it deserve special mention for their friendliness, attentiveness, and the consistently excellent food. The atmosphere each evening was relaxed yet refined, and the service was simply fantastic. Breakfast each morning was perfect – exactly what I needed to fuel a day of adventures, whether trekking up Mount Etna (beautifully arranged by the hotel) or taking a trip to Syracuse (again, the hotel organised my taxi to the station – Vecchio Taxis were also brilliant). As a solo traveller, it means a lot when staff engage and make you feel genuinely welcome. The entire team here were on top form, turning a good trip into a truly memorable one. My bedroom was simple but functional, with a bathroom to match – everything clean and in good working order. The pool area was immaculate, clearly cared for with real attention to detail, and the optional extras such as bike hire were a nice touch.
