Park Hotel Oasi
"Very tired hotel ,needs a revamp Evening good so disappointing, flavourless and served by mostly waiting staff who are anxious for you to leave the restaurant as quickly as possible Pool has no shallow end and no steps for entry only the vertical ladders ,the surround is pleasant if you ignore the uneven tiles"
Sky Pool Hotel Sole Garda
"An extremely well run hotel which is hard to fault. Nothing disappointed and every area was top notch. Dining, housekeeping, bar, reception and all facilities were excellent and the location is perfect to enjoy lovely Garda. Our room on the 2nd floor was immaculate with a balcony that provided us with afternoon sun. Bathroom facilities were spacious and light and one of the best hotel hairdryers I have encountered. Thanks to all the staff, we had a very enjoyable holiday."
Hotel Alla Torre
"We stayed for 4days 3nights in this hotel and overall I’d say it’s 4/5 stars however none really affect the hotel. Hotel whereabouts: Hotel is in an amazing spot about 30seconds from the lake front surrounded by shops but is never crowded by the entrance. The checking in/reception is separate to the hotel which is a little confusing however is explained on the entrance to the hotel. Also the little shop right next to the hotel will help direct you. Facilities: AC is incredible especially being out all day and also on the humid days. However we found it made quite a bit of noise at night, not the hotels fault. The TV oh my. Constantly loosing signal and turning off very frustrating when trying to watch the England play in the World Cup lol. Again this could be down to the location and bad signal or an older version of a TV? Due to being apart of another hotel (linked to the building you check in/out with) we are able to use the pool tables free, use the rooftop for sunbathing and 10% off at dinners in there restaurant. Hairdryer provided is very weak in case you debate bringing your own. Also in case your wondering if from the UK you’ll need to purchase a plug to use sockets as different plugs Had a live orchestra on the square behind the hotel where you could sit on the shared balcony’s that each floor had to watch! -1 star: Not really the hotel at fault but few things that was not great. One being the loud water from AC and bathroom. Another for the loud noises would be who we thought were the cleaners. Now this was ridiculous loud, loud banging slamming of doors constantly. However I will say the walls are incredibly thin and the bell that rings above the hotel sounds like it’s in the room with you. The shops below and restaurants bringing in and out there things is loud also so again not the hotels fault really. Ants!: Lastly would be that we had many ants in our room. On our bed, under skirting boards under window and our bathroom. I thought maybe we had brought them in but I seen 3-5 gathering and returning to under the window in a gap. We did report this to the receptionist at the time to a man called Luca. Luca was really apologetic about this and requested someone attend to it in the morning as we noticed a lot more had returned when we arrived back from being out and this was quite late. In the morning when we went into the other hotel for breakfast my partner spoke to a lady in reception about the situation. She said she was aware and that loads of ants in your bed, floor and bathroom is normal? I’m not sure about that. The man did actually come and investigate the ant infestation in the morning and then said he’d return once we had gone out so he wasn’t in our way. If they did this I don’t know as we saw some still when we returned later."
Hotel Astoria
"Well placed small hotel in Garda, in a perfect central location. Very helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay"
Hotel Villa Anthea
"Really enjoyed our two night stay here, especially the swimming pool! Check out was at 11 which meant we could jump in and have another dip in the pool after breakfast but before leaving. Room was very well equipped- lots of space for storing luggage, bed was very big and comfortable and the air conditioning worked beautifully and was much appreciated after a day out in the heat. Fridge and safe in the room, really good bathroom- we had a disabled room which may explain why the shower cubicle wasn't as well sealed as it could have been and the floor got quite wet but this is literally my only gripe. Our room faced the road outside but we didn't hear a peep from any vehicles. Breakfast was okay- good selection of cereals, cheese, eggs etc. Staff very friendly on check in and really helpful would happily stay here again."
Hotel Eden Garda
"Where to start with this little gem of a hotel! We wanted to spend our Ruby Wedding Anniversay in Lake Garda and decided upon the Eden Garda Hotel after reading the wonderful reviews. It certainly did not disappoint! From check in to check out the experience was wonderful. The food is amazing, the rooms spotless and all the staff just so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely room and balcony and it was cleaned to an extremely high standard every day. The walk into Garda itself was a lovely stroll, especially after the beautiful breakfast and lovely evening meal. There are courtesy buses if you prefer to use them. All the guests were also very friendly giving advice on where to visit. The wine and beer at dinner is a great plus for us too! We loved it so much we have booked to go back same time this year as we didn’t see half the lake, even though we were there for 11 nights. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Just perfect!"
Hotel Palme & Suite
"The hotel is very clean , but comfortable because it is very little away from the lake ."
Hotel du Parc
"We stayed at the Du Parc during a heatwave with the temperature reaching mid thirties degrees. The hotel is a very large Italian stylish house. It sits on plenty of land, including a very nice pool, a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre. It's quiet, being away from the main town. View from the front of the hotel is across the lake which is wonderful. We had a very large triple room with a large bathroom including a very pleasant shower and separate toilet and bidet. Rooms were stylish and clean. Air conditioning was ok, it kept the room fairly cool, however it was extremely hot so I didn't expect it to keep the room cold. The plug sockets, by the way, are next to the light switches which aren't easy to spot at first especially next to the bed. The hotel restaurant has very good food with that great view across the lake and Garda town. The hotel Staff were very efficient and friendly. The cleaning staff were very good. Breakfast had an array of different options from a buffet and very high quality. Altogether the stay was excellent and would definitely return if I go back to Garda which is highly probable. "
Casa Cavour Garda
"This was a beautiful place to stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Due to delayed flights we had to stay in Garda a night before moving on. So we booked this hotel at 9pm at night and the staff were so accommodating. It’s in a great area. I’m now sorry we only got to stay for one night. I will be back for a longer stay! "

Residenza Olivo
"Beautiful complex and pool. Everything you could need was there. Clean and a great size apartment!"
Hotel Cortina
"Great location. From the back door directly to the alleys of the old town. Breakfast was served at the table. Coffee, fresh juice, rolls, ham, Serrano ham, scrambled eggs, yogurt, croissant. Great value for money. You can hear the sounds of the road in the room facing the street."
Locanda San Vigilio
"We travel a lot and never write reviews. We felt compelled to do so in this case because we were close to cancelling our stay based on negative reviews on this website. This is a 16th C building converted into a 13 bedroom boutique hotel, set just outside Garda town in a desirable location favoured for lunch and sundowners by the Lake Garda boating fraternity. It has access to a shared pool, or is adjacent to a beautiful protected beach area which costs e30 a day ( you can come and go) to rent a lounger and umbrella ( as is the same everywhere we have been to in Italy ). The protected bathing area is easy to see in pictures and faces away from Garda town. The pictures of the hotel on the website are authentic. We stayed in the water view room in the wing overlooking the popular hotel bar on the pier. This is a 16th C building, it is not a modern glass and steel, floor to ceiling window type hotel. Our room was charming, authentic, and although the bathroom really only fits one person at a time, it had been refurbished and was fully equipped Breakfast and dinner were served on the restaurants outdoor terrace facing out to the lake and away from the pier/ bar. This is a lovely setting. The food and service were good and the staff spoke multiple languages and certainly english The pier bar is immensely popular with non hotel guests, who walk along the shore from Garda or boat in. From the first day of our four night stay the bar “ organiser” recognised me, knew my room number, and always gave us a table ( we were 2) immediately. We were there at one of the busiest weekends of the year. ( we did not have lunch there, maybe that is more of a problem, and a large group might be a problem) For people who like authentic, do not mind walking on heavily worn 16th c cobble stones, understand that in Italy you have to pay for eg a sun lounger, and love a beautiful setting, then we fully recommend this hotel"
Appartamenti Pratone
"The apartments were brilliant. We loved every moment. The hills were a little steep but worth the view. The apartments were a great size and very close to everything. There are 2 pools, a quaint supermarket and a lovely poolside restaurant. Overall, the stay was delightful. However, there was a slight dampener in our experience. There was a particular resident who lived 2 doors up from the bottom pool area. From the moment we arrived she was entitled and rude. She told us to quiet our children in the morning time, before siesta. She took videos of our children. She hose piped my brother in law while holding his 2 yr old son. Her and her mother blocked the car park because someone was in their spot. She held her hand on the horn of her car for half an hour , while her mother went looking for the resident that took her car space even though there was ample parking. For someone who claimed Namaste hand gestures, this small woman has a heart to match her black hair. She really did sour this experience on a small level, but you can't keep Irish down! Maybe it's all the bitter lemons she eats? Overall the apartment was beautiful, the people were mostly nice. We would love to go back again, even if we were to annoy the witch! One star taken away for the entitled resident, sorry!"
Villa Madrina Lovely and Dynamic Hotel
"Great location, Lovely Atmosphere, lovely meals, friendly staff, will definitely return"
Amaris
"This family run hotel is superb. We have stayed here 4 times and have always had a very positive experience. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, as is the whole hotel. The restaurant is excellent and serves typical food for the region. The owners and staff are very welcoming and we are looking forward to our next visit in 2024. With a short 10 minute walk to the centre of Garda, it is very well placed."
Hotel la Perla - Bike Hotel
"Excellent holiday, with good accommodation and excellent food with lots of choice. The pool area is much better than most hotels, which could be improved with some activities such as aqua aerobics "
Hotel Garden
"The location is excellent just a 5 minute walk and your in the beautiful walkways, not far from the lake. Staff couldn’t do enough for us so pleasant. They all work very hard and make you feel apart of there family. Pool excellent."
Regina Adelaide Hotel & Spa
"Well what more can I say other than other than if you love a slice of Italian hospitality with a touch of tradition and charm this is the place for you and get it booked you will not be disappointed. We have just returned from a 10 night stay from this hotel and loved every minute of it and will definately be back to revisit this beautiful area of Italy. It has become a firm favourite of ours. The hotel itself is in a prime position on the lake front and a few steps away from the town with all the bars, restuarants and shops. The hotel is very traditional but provides all the amenities for a perfect stay. We stayed in a double room which was based at the back of the hotel. Considering the main road was near we had no noise issues with the double glazed window. The room was kept spotless by the maids and was plenty big enough for all personal belongings. I must say it was a wonderful sight to see enough coat hangers in the wardrobe to allow you to unpack for your stay. This is a real bugbear of mine when travelling not being able to unpack sufficiently for the duration of your stay. All the staff we encountered were polite friendly and professional and very helpful and most of all appeared happy in their jobs. The breakfast was wide and varied with both hot and cold options. Some hot options were cooked fresh to order from the kitchen. The breads and pastries were wide and varied due to the attached patisserie and tasted divine if they are to your personal taste. We didn't sample the evening meal menu as are not fans of a la carte dining but are aware that it was an award winning experience. The bus station is across the road and the the ferry ticket office is a 5 minute walk away so transport options are not an issue for exploring this beautiful area. We had a fabulous holiday and look forward to returning to this beautiful part of Italy. I can certainly see the reasons why other reviewers have returned to this hotel time and time again and we will definately be joining them."
Tobago
"The welcome was very warm! The nice lady at reception explained everything to us and offered us a welcome drink. We were then taken to our room and given a few useful tips. Since you can choose and put together your breakfast from a very extensive list the day before, you won't miss anything. If you have forgotten or overlooked something, that is no problem. It will be delivered by friendly staff. Our room was clean, big enough and we had a very nice view of the lake. The cleaning was carried out in the morning and was also fine. You can't say anything negative about the pool area either. It is beautifully laid out and invites you to relax. A small snack is also served in the afternoon. Since there were no naughty or shouting children present during our stay, we were able to relax really well. Just great! We then extended it for another night. It would be very nice and desirable if this house were turned into an “adults only” hotel. Then subsequent vacationers could also enjoy their time here. We really enjoyed the days and nights in this hotel and will definitely come back!"
Poiano Garda Resort Hotel
"Although the resort was on the edge of Garda there was a regular free shuttle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartments were dated but clean. We were only really in them to sleep and eat. It was good value as there was plenty to do on site. If we had a query or problem, we mentioned it to reception and it was dealt with straight away. The only real problem we had was initially being given an apartment next to where school parties were staying. We asked to be moved which was sorted immediately. They even sent down someone to take us and our luggage to our new apartment."
Ca' Barbini Resort
"We stayed here for a wind down week after visiting Rome and Venice. What a fantastic hotel! We had a large beautifully furnished room overlooking the terrace/pool with a view of the lake beyond. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (especially Carlotta and Giarda on reception). They arranged flowers and procecco on arrival (it was our honeymoon) and a cake on my birthday, also transfers and tours. The hotel is a little way from the centre of Garda but every time we asked for the free hotel shuttle bus it arrived to pick us up within 5 minutes. It couldn't have been a better stay, and we'd love to come back in future!"
Hotel Conca d'Oro
"All good! They also take care for our bikes. 👍"
Hotel Bisesti
"Just returned from an 11 night stay at hotel Bisesti.Had a comfort room with two balconies which was lovely.the whole hotel is spotlessly clean and very well maintained.the pool area is lovely although the pool was a little on the cool side as not heated( this is my only criticism) .Pool area, sunbeds, changing rooms all spotless and excellent. We had half board for convenience and found the evening meal to be very good.lots of choice and no repetition.breakfast buffet style but lots of choice.all the staff are so friendly and helpful and work very hard.the hotel is in a good location for the lake front and the ferries and also very near to the bus station .it's an excellent base for visiting places on the lake. We had a wonderful stay.thank you very much."
Hotel Remàt
"Near Garda harbor lies this lovely restaurant, with a terrace and fans (which is nice in the heat). The food is also good, and the staff was attentive and attentive. The menu is extensive and offers a wide selection of dishes, so there's something for everyone. We didn't stay at the hotel, so we can't comment on that. But we definitely recommend it for a meal."
Hotel Dependance Silvestro
"Good location friendly staff"
