Choose the Perfect Gaborone Stay for Your Travel Needs
Tlotlo Hotel & Conference Centre
"Stayed one night while transiting in Gaborone. The hotel is a little off-site. If there is no other travel needs, the hotel is still good. The environment is beautiful, the swimming pool is clean, and the hotel's restaurant is worth recommending. The price is moderate and the taste is very good. In particular, the breakfast is very rich, and every staff member encountered is very enthusiastic and responsible. The hotel provides free airport pick-up and drop-off service"
African Home Hotel
"The hotel is perfectly located in Gaborone, close to all the major places and sites worth seeing in the Capital. A walking distance to the Three Dikgosi Monument and Fields Mall. I liked this convenience that the hotel offered. The hotel also has plenty of rooms, over 14 and has a Spa, conference venues and a restaurant. There is also a pool inside and the main entrance is guarded with security personnel. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by a gentleman named Sebalo, who also adjusted my booking to a room that he recommended, has better Wifi connectivity, to which I agreed. I appreciated this as the Wifi in the Kgosi room was good during my stay. I also liked that I had covered parking, which I didn't need to pre-book, located close to the room. I also had a decent breakfast for all the days here, prepared promptly and with care by a lady called Violet. I welcomed this value for money aspect to my stay. She was very friendly, warm and tried by all means to vary the breakfast options and presentation on all three days which I appreciated. The room was spacious, had adequate lighting, Aircon, LCD tv, coffee station and kettle and enough mirrors all round. There were also enough bins in the room, an extra blanket and the bedding was clean. There was a desk and chair, which ensured that I could spend some time catching up on my reading in the room. There was no safe and I had to arrange my own twin plug, which was not an issue. The toilet was separate from the shower which I liked and there was shampoo available. Clean towels were on offer, regularly.replaced and room service was offered. The hotel was peaceful and I did not experience any major distractions. I also liked that I paid once I got to the hotel and that no deposit was withheld. Where I think the hotel could have scored more for me was in the following - there was no info-welcome sheet in the room that orientated me to the rules of the hotel, wifi password, breakfast times, lunch or dinner, important emergency numbers and nearby sites worth seeing for instance which is common in most hotels. I had to ask many of these and Sebalo was of assistance. I feel that the hymn sheet would have made it much easier. I found a booklet about sites to see in Gaborone close to the reception area, which I only saw and made use of during breakfast. Those booklets can be placed in the rooms as a suggestion. The bed was not comfortable at all for me and there were some small insects here and there in the room which was not pleasant to see. This is where the hotel dropped points from me. I believe that if the hotel works on these few items, it could do better. However, the service I received from Sebalo and Violet, together with the convenience of the location, shaded parking, breakfast and good wifi in the room, made the stay decent overall. "
Peermont Walmont at the Grand Palm, Gaborone
"😔 I never thought I'd write a post like this... Yesterday, I went to Deep Klean Professionals Car Wash at the Grand Palm Resort — a place I've trusted for its safe, secure location inside the hotel grounds and the usually respectful, lovely guys who work there. I arrived, parked, sat down, and waited like any normal customer. Then a more expensive car pulled up... and everything changed. The 2 guys who were free or almost done with their cars when i arrived completely forgot about me and every other customer who was already there. They dropped everything and rushed to serve the more expensive car first — outside only, while the owner sat comfortably with his girlfriend ( i have zero issues with the driver & his partner - they were just clients ; the burden of duty lies on the car wash patrons not the client) I waited patiently, hoping they'd get back to my car soon. They didn't. Not even an acknowledgment. Not a single word. I felt completely invisible, disrespected, and belittled — like my car, my time, and my dignity didn't matter because someone else drove something more expensive.Whats worse is that ive only paid the standard fee once; every other time ive made it a point to leave a tip. This was one of the most hurtful customer experiences I've had in a very long time. It broke my heart because I genuinely liked supporting this local business. But after yesterday, I can never go back there again. To the boys at Deep Klean: Basic respect and fairness shouldn't depend on the type of car someone drives. First come, first served should still mean something. I'll be leaving honest 1-star reviews everywhere I can, because no one deserves to feel this small as a paying customer. If you're looking for a car wash in Gaborone, please think twice before going here. Your feelings and your time matter too. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Let's support businesses that treat every customer with dignity. #DeepKleanProfessionals #GrandPalmGaborone #CustomerService #Gaborone"
Indaba Lodge Gaborone
"The overall service was exceptional. The location is excellent and the rooms are very clean and modern. However, they must improve on their breakfast buffet. "
Tlokweng Rose Garden Guesthouse
The Grand Aria Hotel and Conference Centre
"Th rooms are quite good but the restaurant was not up to standard. The room service number was not working so one had to call reception and reception would call the restaurant. I ordered well cooked steak without blood but they brought me steak not well roasted with some blood visible. Had to send it back. The fish was small and not sufficient such that we had to buy a Pizza to be satisfied. The Pizza was mostly just cheese with not really much else. My room service bill was messed up so that I was delayed at checkout sorting out the bill. The room service waiter seemed to be inexperienced. No salt was provided for the meal which was very strange."
Room50Two
"Friendly staff, nice room with good facilities. Clean and accessible in the city. Airport transfer was seamless"
