"I really never write reviews, but for this I will make an exception. During checkout, there were suddenly different amounts on the bill. The boss told me that this is "normal" in their restaurant. I, of course, said something about this. Then he walked up to my girlfriend friend and threatened her. After this he slapped me. To avoid escalation I paid. Please choose another restaurant. Even though it looks so sweet. Appearances are deceptive! Amalfi and the surrounding area has countless great other restaurants that treat tourists fairly. The food was not good for the price. Of course, the whole experience brought that down heavily."

Simple Room with sea view, very clean, air conditioner, Bathroom bit on the small side but overall good value for money At my age did not do much walking but lots of trails & views for those more active Location too small for Cruise Ships & Big Tour Boats which was fine by me, went on trip to Positano was amazed at number of people in such a small area. Also took trip to Capri, swimming off boat included, great trip Morning walk to "Piratana" for glass of wine & to take in the view"

"Disappointment • Family The place is nice even if the sea is 18km away by car with a twisting road. Unfortunately I have to share our experience with regret. We had booked for 5 days but unfortunately on the first day of our stay my son was ill (fever, cough, sore throat) and I had to run and take him to the hospital in Rome to have him checked out. I thought the owner would understand and decide to charge only for the night or, understanding the situation, half the total price. Nothing, with total insensitivity and coldness, my wife was told that unfortunately we had to pay for everything because then I would have to clean (clean for one night?). I completely understand that for the god of money no one cares about anyone. But we are talking about a child who was not well and at least I expected more sensitivity. Absolutely not to be recommended, sometimes for a little money you lose out, I will not recommend it to anyone, in fact... good luck"

"This was a last minute impromptu trip , booked as we had consecutive days off. We travelled as a couple and we're warmly welcomed by the hosts. We had a very tast dinner with wine at the b and b, and to be quite honest it was one of the tastiest and most reasonable dinners on our trip. The family are lovely, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and can advise on trip planning. They organised a driver for us both ways. The bus stops right outside the hotel and is 1.50 each way(. You cant pay on board you have to buy a ticket prior) The hotel has them. From Amalfi you can get to many beautiful places. We did Positano Capri, Ravello ,Amalfi in 4 days. The views here from the b and b are unrivalled. The weather was very hot but air conditioning helped that. Breakfast was fresh pastries, coffee, juice and eggs dine your way. Delicious. We will come back to explore more when we can. We absolutely loved it. Thank you 😊"

"We stayed in this special place for a week as part of a G Adventures tour. The views from the property are incredible, and it's a great base for hiking adventures, including to The Path of the Gods or to Mount Tre Calli. It's a family-run agriturismo, and the staff and family work hard at all aspects of hosting. The service was excellent and there were tasty breakfasts every morning, with a huge assortment of sweet and savory items, and fresh farm eggs that were cooked to order. Every night, there were delicious gourmet three-course dinners (like a pasta or risotto to start, a meat dish like pork or lamb chops, followed by a dessert like panna cotta or tiramisu.) The evening server Antonio was very attentive and knew each room number for drink orders from day one. We were enthralled by the quaintness of it all... from the luggage shuttle up and down the hill, to the 120 steps down to the property, to the history of the agriturismo and a viewing of the historic manual grape press in the cellar, and to a cooking demo by owners, Nicolo and Michaela. Thank you for this wonderful stay."

"Strategic location, the bus stop is practically in front of the property. The owners are two very kind and helpful brothers. The property is wonderful in every way and the service is truly fantastic. Breakfast is both sweet and savory and there is a wide selection. We are truly satisfied with the place and the services it offers, even the staff who clean the rooms are truly polite and excellent like few others, given that we travel a lot. A well-deserved 5 stars, I would have liked to give 10. I recommend it, you will not be disappointed."

"The soul of this fabulous hotel is the staff. They are led by Simona who is the most helpful and knowledgeable concierge. Scooter hire, bus tickets nothing too much trouble. The rooms are individually designed as you would expect of an Art Hotel, they are kept clean by the ever smiling and laughing staff who take great pride in their work. The location is stunning, set in to a cliff with views that will stun you. Furore is the best location for exploring the Amalfi coast without the chaos that is Amalfi. I have traveled to many places solo however I was looked after here better than any of my other travels."

"😡🤬The service at this restaurant was terrible. I do not recommend it because the manager was impolite and disrespectful to customers. My best friend purchased a lemon cake, but the manager insisted on providing a tiramisu cake instead, claiming it was fresh. To our surprise, the cake was not good; it looked and tasted spoiled. Additionally, the table was not set up properly, and I had a terrible birthday experience due to the manager's behavior. He even asked us to leave the restaurant, and many customers witnessed the incident. 😡🤬Il servizio in questo ristorante è stato terribile. Non lo consiglio perché il gestore è stato scortese e irrispettoso nei confronti dei clienti. Il mio migliore amico ha acquistato una torta al limone, ma il direttore ha insistito per fornire invece una torta tiramisù, sostenendo che era fresca. Con nostra sorpresa, la torta non era buona; sembrava e aveva un sapore viziato. Inoltre, il tavolo non era allestito correttamente e ho avuto una terribile esperienza di compleanno a causa del comportamento del manager. Ci ha persino chiesto di lasciare il ristorante e molti clienti hanno assistito all'incidente"

"It's a very difficult journey for those using public transportation, but it's a wonderful place. The room interior is lovely, and breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the beach. The beach right in front of the hotel feels like a secluded spot and is absolutely stunning. The Praiano ferry terminal is right in front, making it ideal for heading to the next tourist spot. The staff were very helpful and even showed me how to buy ferry tickets. I'd love to go again."

"From the moment we arrived, the Grand Hotel Furore exceeded every expectation. The property itself is absolutely breathtaking, with panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast that seem almost too beautiful to be real. What truly made this hotel extraordinary, however, was the people. Gabriele was exceptional from start to finish. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine desire to ensure we had the best possible experience made us feel like honored guests rather than visitors. Whether offering recommendations, answering questions, or simply checking in to see how our day had gone, he consistently went above and beyond. The entire staff created an atmosphere that felt like home. By the second day, they welcomed us back each time we returned from exploring the coast and went above and beyond for each breakfast and dinner that we had there. They treated us so good that we didn’t even want to leave for the day. The shuttle to and from Amalfi was clutch as well. We were able to travel to Amalfi for our excursions and connect to Capri and Positano from there as well and it was absolutely complimentary. The accommodations were beautiful, the service was impeccable, and every interaction reflected true Italian hospitality. Staying here wasn’t just about having a place to sleep—it became one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy. Oh and I can’t forget to talk about the spa. It was a tranquil heaven that we enjoyed coming g back to after a long summer day on the Amalfi Coast. It was such a nice treat that we weren’t expecting!!! We can’t wait to return for our next trip to the Amalfi."

"The Mela Blue is a lovely B&B on the Amalfi coast in a little town of Furore. The apartments are well equipped, spacious and very clean. A small kitchenette and a washing machine meets all a traveller's needs. Like most of the Amalfi coast, it's build on a hillside with windy roads to get anywhere. It has a lovely see view with terrace or garden depending on which unit you stay in. It's on roadside but most properties on the coast are. There is a small supermarket either a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk down the hill that sells pretty much anything you need and has been in the same family since 1966. The bus stop for SITA is just outside although we had a car, and there is free parking unlike many properties. Carmella is lovely, brought fresh croissant, cakes, lemon cella every day, and was the perfect host. A great 8 day stay"
