"I had the pleasure of visiting the Berghotel Hochfügen in Austria, and I have to say it was an unforgettable experience! The hotel's location is simply perfect! Nestled in the mountains, surrounded by breathtaking nature, it offers views that inspire every day. The proximity to the ski slopes and hiking trails makes it the ideal starting point for all outdoor activities. The food at the hotel is absolutely first-class! The kitchen offers a variety of delicious dishes, both regionally and internationally inspired. Every meal was a highlight, and the quality of the ingredients and the presentation were always top-notch. The service at the hotel is fantastic! The staff is always friendly, helpful, and attentive. Every request is promptly fulfilled, and you feel at home from the very beginning. The hotel staff are simply fantastic! They are all very friendly, competent, and do their jobs with love and dedication. They were on hand to help and advise us during our stay and made our vacation even more unforgettable. The design of the hotel is simply stunning! The architecture and furnishings are modern, stylish, and fit perfectly with the surroundings. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Overall, I highly recommend the Berghotel Hochfügen! For my husband and me, a night at ASTER provided that bliss as we settled into our rustic and warm suite, swam under the full moon in the heated pool, relaxed with a view of the mountains in their new wellness center, and indulged in a BBQ dinner by the fire. "Oh my - this is a special place. Been in the family for 100 years!! And it's a place filled with love and care. The views are spectacular across the valley. You can ski right to the door! The food is divine (even have a veg/fruit juicer at breakfast as well as a fresh omlette chef!) and the rooms are so comfy. The spa is the perfect place to zone out staring at some mountains or sweat it out in the sauna(s - x2!!!)."

"What an amazing place - one of the best ski hotels we've ever stayed in. Location is perfect to ski in/out (onto a moderate red run) with a gently walk downhill to the village. Good apres ski bar 5 minutes away. Such a warm welcome from the host Elizabeth and her very attentive staff. Nothing is too much bother and a 'home from home' atmosphere is strongly advocated. They even knew it was my husband's birthday - card, present and prosecco at the breakfast table! Stunning breakfast and evening meals, with the bonus of mid afternoon cake. Rooms were clean, modern and functional. Wellness suite was fantastic with the 'panorama' pool overlooking the nursery slopes. We cannot recommend this hotel enough and hope to return."
