Stayed 3 nights in February and asked for quiet room - 3rd floor at rear of hotel very quiet and slept with window open without problem. Breakfast adequate, room clean and modern with towels changed daily. quality and desk only staffed at certain times but can book in at Kyriad next door. Will stay again next week.

Excellent accommodation in a modern and well-equipped hotel (secured parking underground, highly performing wifi, excellent litter, beer bar, quite complete PDJ buffet). The location is excellent only 10 minutes walk away in direct access to the historic heart of the city centre and Old Port, much more effective than in car (20-25mn due to work). Tip: Let his car in the secure parking of the hotel to avoid the gallery to turn around to find a quite expensive and far-from parking place because the nearby parking is quickly saturated.

Cet hôtel est situé à proximité d’une route les bruits de voiture ne sont pas incessants. Fenêtre fermé c’est inaudible mais si on veut dormir avec les fenêtres ouvertes cela peut être gênant ! Les chambres sont disposées en coursive extérieure. Le parking est gratuit. Les chambres ont été joliment rénovées. Décoration moderne et fonctionnelle. Tout y est .. du sèche cheveux, coffre fort et à la bouilloire . La literie est confortable . Le petit déjeuner en buffet servi de 7 à 11h le week-end, ce qui est très appréciable. Avec beaucoup de choix sucré, salé . Le personnel est accueillant et souriant. Deux points négatifs à souligner, une odeur d’égout de temps à autre, ainsi qu’une pression d’eau coté douche très insuffisante. Cela reste un bel établissement, Nous reviendrons si l’envie de revoir Fouras revenait à notre mémoire

Not only is this place ideally situated for the square and all things Rochefort, the staff are great and the breakfast is the best that France has to offer. This is my third stay here and even though I could hunt for the mostt expensive, it cannot compare with the personal touch and friendly welcome I always receive. I've got to say that since my first visit the parking has become a little bit more of a problem, but pay a couple of euros, wait a little and a space will occur.

We arrived in the dark, wind and rain. However, the lady from reception and valet came outside to greet us, which we appreciated. Very good car parking. The hotel is a lovely building on a street with nice shops and cafes. The hotel bar and lounge area is very nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and there was a fire burning, creating a lovely atmosphere. Our bedroom was large, the bed and pillows comfortable and the shower was great. I was very impressed by La Rochelle and would love to visit in summer. Very friendly and helpful staff. We did not eat in the restaurant but it looked good. Thankyou
