"The room was very spacious, the check in was easy and the staff on reception very friendly. The bed was great, and the pillows perfect. The view from our room on the 5th floor was amazing, we paid for the superior mountain view and it was worth it. The dinner menu was a buffet but with some roasted beef which was served freshly cooked and on a griddle to add more cooking if necessary was the best we have tasted in a long time. The breakfast buffet was good too, with freshly made omelettes available. The staff in the restaurant were a little unsure of themselves, it took four people to get one glass of wine from them. All in all a lovely hotel in wonderful surroundings. We only stopped one night on a trip home from France."

"Overall very good experience. The hotel is placed at the end of Formigal with amazing view in all the directions. Foratata trail starts next to the hotel. The rooms are very big with everything you need. Clean everywhere. Amazing terrace to enjoy a drink after a long walk. The bar prices are very cheap comparing with city bars. Even the dinner is very convenient, considering it is a buffet and you have plenty of options. The only remark that i have, at the breakfast there is too much meat… and no vegetables or very limited options for vegan/vegatarians. The hotel staff is very nice and very helpful. Definitely we will be back as we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and the we still have plenty of mountains to escalate. :) Gracias Lucian"

"We had a triple room which was really spacious. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was cleaned on a daily basis. Staff was very kind and helpful. There is a gym and a spa ( so please take bathing suite with you). The shuttle bus to the pistes is great, though the regular bus is neither that far away. The weakest point is the meal. There is adequate choice but we missed vegetables at dinner time and often food was very salty or very sweet. Overall very good experience and we’ll definitely return."
