"The food and service of this hotel is very good. The location is right in front of the ski lift. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Some dinner courses are often worthy of a Michelin star. We had a nice room with a good bathroom and it is very clean. This hotel is run by a family and that provides a personal touch. Unlike a hotel that is managed by a company with multiple hotels."

"During my stay in Flachau, I stopped by Dips & Drops a few times for coffee, a couple of times for lunch and on my last night in Flachau, drinks before bidding the place goodbye. What left a very strong and good impression on me was the people. During the day, I got to know Vedran and Julio, both were so friendly and helpful I found myself returning to the same place almost every other day. On the last day, I got to know Marie who recommended all my drinks that night - they were excellent recommendations. Vedran, Julio and Marie are such lovely folks I feel they really made a difference to the place. Would definitely drop by again the next time I visit Austria!"

"It's sad that we felt ripped off like this. Upon arrival, we were politely asked to pay an additional cleaning fee for the room. They wouldn't give us the key otherwise. Even though the booking form clearly stated that this was the final price, we felt cheated and ripped off by the hotel. When we asked for an invoice for the extra charge, we received a slip of paper that was neither signed nor stamped, nor properly issued. It's simply appalling to rip off travelers like this!"
