Prairie Guest House

"My wife & I stayed two nights @ Prairie Guest House to begin a weeklong leisure trip, then returned for a single night to wrap up our travels. The location was very convenient to Fishers-area attractions & dining options, while being just remote enough to support the "Prairie" theme with the Conner Prairie historical complex right across the road. The property owners (John & Karen) provided regular communications and information via their reservation service after we booked on the B&B website, and they continued to be helpful through our departures. Self check-in was completed seamlessly using the QR code posted in each suite, and allowed us to choose our preferred breakfast times. We occupied adjacent suites on the 2nd floor of the Guest House during our stops (Caldwell & Garrity), and each provided sufficient space & furnishings for relaxation plus an ensuite bathroom (shower only as we prefer). The bitter cold winter weather severely challenged the Guest House building's central heating, but using the space heaters (one in each suite stowed inside the closet) kept the room temps stable during our stays. Daily breakfasts were prepared & served by John in the Main House, a short walk across the courtyard from the Guest House. We were seated on the attractively furnished Main House enclosed porch space, surrounded by beautiful plants & flowers grown and nurtured by Karen (who also provided an extra treat of a gorgeous rose & carnation bouquet in our second suite). The meals had good variety on each daily plate & day-to-day, with flavorful fresh ingredients and just the right volume to fuel us for each day's start. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Prairie Guest House, and we will book another visit the next time we travel to or through the Indianapolis area."
