Astra Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is 1 km away from the train station and close to the city center. You can walk to various attractions and visit the old town. The surrounding environment is relatively quiet, which of course is related to the size and population density of the city itself."
Casa d'Este - Hotel Ferrara ★★★★
"Casa d’Este Hotel Ferrara is in a superb location in front of the Castello Estence. Friendly staff who provided helpful and attentive service."
Hotel Touring ★★★
"The best, most beloved and dear to my heart hotel! ❤️ A hotel where I felt like home! And it's not just about the warm, cozy, comfortable rooms that are pleasant to come to and sad to leave..)) The most important thing about this hotel is its special atmosphere of human warmth, care and sincere kindness! ❤️ This is priceless!! This is what makes you want to come back again and again! The hotel is in an excellent location! Divine, mind-blowing, delicious, hearty breakfasts!!!! 😋😋😋 And, of course: Alla, Giacomo, Jennifer, Angela - you are the decoration of this hotel! Thank you for everything!!! ♥️♥️♥️ And a special thank you to the master, Grigory Semenovich) I apologize for the quality of the images (I didn't take any separate photos, these are screenshots from my video 🤷♀️)."
Last Minute Ferrara ★★
"For a reasonable price, I rented this single room for around €40 with a shared external bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the room spacious and bright. There is a serious flaw however: the walls are thin and there was a problem with noise. But maybe it was an episode but I remedied it with some earplugs!"
Hotel Annunziata ★★★★
"Excellent price and central position in front of the castlep."
Radisson Hotel Ferrara ★★★★
"Location was very good, clean, friendly staff."
Hotel Nazionale ★★★
"Service was good and thorough and the facilities were adequate. Food was nice enough.,"
B&B HOTEL Ferrara ★★★
"We were traveling from Vienna to Rome by car so this was a good place to stop for the night and be able have a brief look at Ferrara itself which is well worth a visit. Hotel was very comfortable and very good value. The old town was easy to reach by car. "
Avanguardia Art Club ★★★★
"Spotlessly clean hotel in a prime location. Wonderfully peaceful, yet only a two minute walk from some excellent bars and restaurants. Remote check in was easy. Double room was spacious and the bathroom was both large and with a fantastic shower. Bed was far and away the most comfortable I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in. Met the owner on the first day of my stay. She was wonderfully helpful and took time out to point me towards the best spots in Ferrara (in flawless English). Was impressed that whilst doing this she was also dealing with queries from other guests in both Italian and French. Will definitely stay here again."

Il Giardino di Rebecca
"In an extraordinary landscape context, this splendid Bed and Breakfast presents itself as a true oasis of serenity in which to escape from the frenzy of the city and be enchanted by the uncontaminated beauty of nature. Il Giardino di Rebecca is divided into several apartments and rooms, all overlooking a beautiful garden. In summer it must be a marvel, but even during the cold season it can surprise! In fact, I was a guest here, together with my partner, in December and we were not disappointed at all. We stayed in a spacious double room. impeccably clean and with a super soft and inviting bed! The bathroom furnished in a modern style is also very large and has a large shower with a rain shower head, my favourite! The unique detail that exceeded our expectations was the wellness area adjacent to our room! Through a discreet door, we had undisturbed access to the BnB's wellness area with the hot tub and Finnish sauna. This detail was exactly the pampering we wanted especially because we were looking for relaxation and shelter from the particularly cold and humid temperatures of those days. Immersing yourself in this corner of undisturbed relaxation was a real pleasure! Breakfast also did not disappoint at all: a sumptuous feast of freshly baked cakes, fragrant croissants, fresh fruit, yoghurt and an assortment of drinks to satisfy every taste. Despite the wide choice worthy of a 5-star hotel, the thing I appreciated most was the authentic and informal atmosphere: Eleonora welcomes you with a beautiful smile and advises you on what to see and what to do in nearby Ferrara. For me it was a regenerating stay and I felt super pampered. I can't help but highly recommend it!"
Agriturismo Lama di Valle Rosa
"We spent a day of total relaxation: a lovely swim in the pool, a large hot tub, a hot sauna, herbal teas for all tastes, lunch with piadina and homemade desserts, a walk by the lake, and a warm welcome. I recommend bringing life jackets for those traveling with small children."
Ferrara Rooms
"Smells, dirty, in a bad area of the town. A dozen steps to go to the bathroom from the room - dangerous at night, especially if you are not any more young. Ultimately I decided not to sleep there. They asked me advance payment, and of course did not return any money despite I stayed about 3 minutes in the room. Never again. Stay away."
Residence Carlton
"Wonderful staff, great breakfast buffet, good location, nice rooms, what's not to like? I would definitely stay hear again if in Ferrara."
Casaforte la Bastide
"Very nice property with a garden and a small vineyard, only a 10 minute drive from Ferrara. The room (two storey family suite) was quiet and well equipped. I love the glass bottom part of the floor/ceiling. The breakfast is very tasteful."
Hotel Europa
"One night's experience, in a Superior room on the second floor, with a frescoed ceiling, very spacious, as was the bathroom... Some might say it's a bit "lived in," but in my opinion it has its charm and a sense of... history... Overlooking the main street, in front of the Teatini Church, with the windows closed there was no noise from the street... Breakfast was standard, don't expect the breakfasts of large international hotels, but a good variety of sweet and savory, with desserts I think from the nearby pastry shop of the same name, which was closed for holidays during our short stay... The reception staff were kind and welcoming... I forgot to mention the centrality of the hotel: a few meters from the Castle, and convenient for walking to other popular destinations in Ferrara..."
Locanda Borgonuovo
"Locanda Borgonuovo is not just a place of welcome and hospitality, it is an experience that you don't expect and this thanks to its owner: the wonderful and inequalified Philip! To say that he welcomed us is an eufemism, because in Ferrara, which was taken to the Vasco concert these days, we found a person who treated us as being a family. Filipo is the host you would like to meet everywhere in the world: always available and careful, full of advice and solutions to offer the best experience. I can only recommend the new bourgeois restaurant because I tasted in all senses the famous motto 'a home away from home' Thank you Philip!"
Honey Rooms Ferrara
"We had to watch a concert in the nearby Ariostea Square. I couldn't make a better choice. Clean, well-treated, large room,all-fitted.Parking two steps, excellent breakfast, friendly staff."
Al Castello
"The hotel is located in the centre of the city centre, near the castle. Beautiful the neighboring square to dine and breakfast. Advised."
Ecorooms Ferrara
Le Stanze Del Savonarola
"A place so good it will make you want to stay in. The rooms are big, clean and cozy. The shower is a dream. The kitchen is great. The castle is basically just outside your door. A really amazing place, would definitely go back."
Principessa Pio
"Very very basic. The photos are not representing the actual property. Broken parts in room. Room small and old Much like a dormitory, very expensive for what is it"
Alloggi Al Verdi
"I stayed in August 2024 with my family (2 adults + 1 boy of 13 years old). Central location a step from the historical center. Large parking nearby. Clean, spacious double room, comfortable bed sofa. Adapted to families. It's very advisable!"
Hotel Lucrezia Borgia
"The hotel has 3 stars and a lot of effort has been put into surpassing its category. The location is excellent, 2 km from the center, in the immediate vicinity of a large shopping center. Parking is provided and included in the price, and in a short time you can reach a large public parking lot next to the historic city center. The rooms are comfortable, the air conditioner works flawlessly. The breakfast is fine, with my comments about the Italian breakfast that the offer of sweet things prevails over the savoury. . We had dinner once in the hotel restaurant, both the food and the service were excellent. Complaints are that some workers at the reception barely understand and speak English, as well as that the breakfast is used up faster than it is replenished, so if you arrive late, half of the offer will no longer be available. The friendliness of the staff, family atmosphere and good location will make me recommend the hotel to other travelers."
