"Not too far from the bus stop, and the view in front of the hotel is beautiful. A car would be better for getting around, as the hotel is located on a small hill."

"Seriously thinking of going there again! The room was amazing, super spacious, fully equipped, colorfully decorated, and clean! The brothers who owned the place were extra helpful. There was nothing we asked for and did not get. The view was nice and the beach was just 50 m away. The location was also perfect as it was in the middle of the East side so we could move easily to the North and North East side of the island."

"We booked 2 rooms for 2 couples to go and relax in Corfu.We arrived at Ipsos after twenty hours of driving. We expected to have a shower and take some time to rest. We were really shocked to see that the rooms were very untidy.The toilet wasn’t cleaned before our arrival which was absolutely disgusting,we found some flies which were dead on the walls,a lot of dust on the floor and under the beds,the air conditioner was not working at all and was also full of spiderwebs.The kettle,which I am pretty sure that was not cleaned ever before was very sticky and rusty, the fridge was yellow on the inside which tells me a lot about the age that it has,the toilet was leaking at the bottom,the light bulb was improvised and hanging down. We booked for a week with breakfast included but when we saw all that disgusting things we started to ask ourselves how the kitchen looks. We told the receptionist that we want to leave but she became very angry and after all the discussions she decided that we need to pay for one night per room because of the ‘cleaning that was made for us’. In the end i will not recommend anyone to go there!!! Not worth at all! "

"We had a sea view room with an ample balcony. Everything was clean and tidy. This hotel is literally accros the road from the beach, 43 of my steps to be precise. The staff are kind, welcoming, polite and helpful. Special mention to Angelica, the receptionist, who organised our excursion to Paxos and Antipaxos, including a bagged breakfast since the bus would pick us up before the service was ready - she has been awesome! Breakfast and dinner was included and all was prepared beautifully and to homemade quality - the stew is to die for! Conveniently located next to bus route 7 that connects with Corfu Town in about 25 mins, supermarket and multiple ATMs."

"The good: - Stunning views and in a beautiful location. We loved walking up the hill behind the hotel for the views and going down to Barbati beach where you could snorkel. - Rooms and bathrooms were a nice size - We like the free ping pong, and the huge bookcase where people swapped books was great. - On a good bus route, able to get the bus into Corfu town and up to Kassiopi - Sun loungers were incredibly comfy, and the pool was so quiet for most our holiday The less good: We paid a premium price for what was advertised as a luxury 4 star hotel and it really failed to hit the mark. - Advertised as a spa hotel and there was not a spa at the hotel - Rooftop bar advertised, was never open once in our 10 day stay. There were 3 nights of bad weather but besides this it was perfect yet still didn't open. I think maybe it was too quiet for them to justify having staff up there, but they should make this really clear. - Food and drink was disappointing compared to other 4*b hotels we've been to in Greece. Cocktail menu was not great and was in small plastic cups/not fresh. No substitutions could be made. With food, the hotel website and Tui show incredible photos of lots of choices whereas in reality whilst the food was nice there were limited options, especially on desserts where there may only be 2 choices. They would also stop serving food an hour before closure, we cam down to breakfast and on multiple days at 9am they would stop putting out any new food so the food was often cold. - One of our rooms was cleaned daily, but our second room went days without being cleaned. We had to ask reception for things like toilet roll which were still not delivered and in the end had to take from the toilet by the restaurant. At a 4* hotel you should not have to go out and find toilet roll! - The shower was cold, asked reception and they were unable to fix. It also leaked everywhere. We had a nice holiday and loved exploring Corfu, but I wish the hotel and TUI would either work on improvements, or look at their listing and make it more realistic as it's no wonder people are turning up disappointed."

"The restaurant and bar staff are lovely but that still does not make up for the state of the room. The pictures of the Superior Room on the hotel website are misleading. The pictures attached show the grim reality of their Superior Rooms. I spoke to the front desk who told me that "yes, your room is superior but all rooms are different" Luckily we were just staying for 2 nights. Add to this: • no hot water on both days (front desk said the water situation impacted everyone as if she thought that made us feel better • tiny bathroom • no sound proofing in the room. It's possible to hear everything in the adjoining room • clothes storage that was just an open shelf unit • no extra bed (we didn’t need one but the website said it had one” • standard domestic fridge in the room that made a racket • no tea / coffee making facilities (well, unless you consider three packets of Green Tea (nothing else) to nail that feature) The room was tired. The one piece of furniture was cracked and splitting where the cheap MDF material had got damp. We strongly believe it is the worst hotel bedroom we have ever experienced. But as I said at the start. The restaurant team and bar team were delightful."
