We extended one night but the rate was much more expensive (Sunday night). We should have booked it online rather at the reception. Hotel room is small and basic but clean tidy. Bed was comfortable. Shower cubicle gets all wet over the bathroom floor due to lack of shower curtain."

"I start by saying that we have a four-year-old girl and it has seen us that she has enjoyed a lot. "We were so looking forward to a 3 night stay at the mansion, including breakfast. The area was lovely and the surrounding so peaceful and so very French, which we loved. We had a room on the 4th floor which being over 21 was not an easy task carrying all our luggage ( no lift of course) The staff were very friendly and helpful. On a disappointing note , the room was very tired , it had staples holding some of the wall Paper up , the fan was broken and was taped together, the window was cracked in the bathroom and panels hanging off the bath, and generally could do with being looked after , which was a shame. Breakfast was fine, did not eat at the hotel , but the town was lovely and so were many surrounding villages . We enjoyed it but it could do with a little TLC. "

"Needing a stop-off between Calais and the Atlantic coast, Broglie, not far from the A28 motorway, fitted the bill. The building is an 18th century town house, converted to a hotel last year. Beautifully done by an interior decorator and his partner, it has a small number of large en-suite bedrooms, with modern rather than antique furniture. The restaurant was an even newer venture, open for only a week, and still finding its feet. Very welcoming couple who upgraded us without charge to a more expensive cooler room on a very hot night. Excellent breakfast. A place to return to when we make the same journey."

"A lovely small hotel with only 11 rooms where the owners take great pride in ensuring their guests have a pleasant time. The rooms are warm and comfortable. There s nice living room with a fire to relax and have a drink, a heated pool and a wellness area. There s also the possibility to use some bikes. Breakfast is typical French, starting with a local juice and then some sweet and/or salty. If possible , you should really eat at their restaurant, there s only one fixed menu (plus a veggie option upon request) but it is definitely worthwhile: fresh, tasteful and beautiful. The owner also knows his wines, so you ll have plenty of quality bottles to choose from. The location is a bit remote, so you ll need a car to visit the area."

"this place was so cool! we really liked the aqua mundo- we went every day! we also liked the activities; especially the high adventure. the house was okay; we didn’t expect too much because it was a comfort cottage, but it was clean. Really good value for money; it was probably still the french school term when we went. Liked the park itself; lots of trees and not too big. We really enjoyed our holiday here!"
