"Sorry Marriott, this one needs your attention. As Bonvoy members we stay in Residence Inns all the time and almost always have a good experience. Won't stay at the Eugene property again because: 1) They charged $75 pet fee.....more than we've ever paid anywhere, 2) They charge $10 for parking while they have a huge parking area that wasn't even full, 3) The breakfast was sad & tired to say the LEAST. At 9am there was 1 little yogurt left, stale breads, bad scrambled eggs, etc. We walked out and found a coffee shop (Farmers Union - excellent!), 4) The fridge in our room had not been cleaned out. There was still old food in it from the previous guest. This hotel badly needs a refresh/update. The one positive: the staff was friendly."

"Our car was broken into in the parking lot of this hotel and nothing was done to stop or prevent this. We will never stay here again."

"Beautiful hotel, right downtown, with truly exceptional service and delicious breakfast. I arrived very late after a long travel day, and accidentally left my key in the door, which could be dangerous in the city's downtown as a solo traveler. The hotel does hourly rounds, found my key quickly, and had it at the front desk for me first thing the next morning. The room was immaculate and newly remodeled with really nice details such as custom tile. The breakfast tasted home-cooked with eggs, bacon, and even fresh donuts. The only (minimal) downside was that I did not find a hair dryer in the room. I'll gladly stay here again the next time I'm in Eugene!"

"After waiting 30-45 minutes for any service whether checking in or getting clean towels or checking out. The bedspread was filthy and full of cigarette burns, the pillow cases appeared to have black soot on and underneath them. Cigarette burns on all the furniture. But we decided to stay anyways as we were traveling with cash only and this limits the hotels you can rent. We were asked to pay a $50 cash deposit for incidentals, we obliged. In the morning we asked for a late checkout, hotel front desk agreed 1 hour extra making checkout 12 noon. When we left at twelve noon they refused to give us our deposit back stating we didn't check out on time at 1100. I'm assuming she needed 50bucks for her own pocket. So if you like nasty rooms and being ripped off this is the place. But if you like clean,safe,honest,fair pricing, this is not the place for anyone especially if you have kids."

"The front desk is very kind and helpful. The bath tub wasn’t draining and I don’t want to change rooms so they gave me a key to another room to use the shower and toilet. Our toilet also was not flushing. The rooms are ok kind of old."
