"Had a great stay the last week in September. Clean and quiet rooms with a large bathroom and nice seating area. The daily treats to go along with the coffee were excellent. Tom also gave us some great tips on eats and sightseeing. I hope I get to stay there again someday in the future."

"We have come to Escalate every year for 20 years and always stay at Prospector Inn. This family owned motel is always clean, staff are always friendly and helpful and its location is the best for exploring the Escalante Staircase. This year we were here over Thanksgiving. Jackie , our front desk hostess, cooked a full blown Thanksgiving dinner for her staff and invited any guests as they came in. What a treat and boy what a great cook!!! This made for a most memorable Thanksgiving!!"

"Picked out this place as part of a longer road trip. You can tell it’s an older place but the inside of the rooms were very well decorated and clean. Kinda like a boutique hotel. If I pass through this area again, I’d definitely want to stay here again."

"We had to cancel our first night's stay at the last minute due to mechanical problems on the drive there and the campground was excellent to work with us in the change in schedule. We loved the campground. The RV site had a beautiful view of sunrise and was very quiet and peaceful. After the troubles we had getting out west, it was just what we needed."
