"We stayed at this Hampton Inn due to its proximity to Scripps Encinitas Hospital for outpatient surgery. This worked quite well for our 5:30 am check-in. The hotel itself is clean, modern and has excellent outdoor parking The complimentary breakfast was good and the staff accommodated our request for late check-out as the surgery and recovery for a family member was longer than expected. We could not have asked for more and will return when the need arises again."

"Checked in with Jeff very easy yet not very personable. Amenities extra $15/day even if you’re not using. Gym pool spa internet parking buffet breakfast. No disability parking in front door entrance only back (which was to far away from room) no help offered with luggage (only self service heavy push carts) Did not ask if I wanted help or if I was going to utilize these amenities. Room smelled of heavy use chemicals to clean room. (Could taste it). Ocean view claim with balcony was actually only seen if you walked and peered to the left. Bed not the most comfortable. Exit room door would slam at night very loud. Walk in tile shower floor slippery while showering and shower head had very low pressure."
