Elounda Heights (Adults Only) ★★★★
"Elounda Heights is a family run hotel, set high on the side of a hill occupying an absolutely magnificent position overlooking Mirabello Bay, with spectacular sea and mountain views that set the tone for an utterly relaxing stay. We stayed in one of the brand-new air-conditioned Mirabello Suites with private pool and patio, complete with a small kitchenette, spacious walk-in rain shower, wash basin and organic toiletries. The beds are among the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Breakfasts by the pool, overlooking Mirabello Bay, are varied and very tasty. The homemade jams are not to be missed! In the evening George prepares homemade, traditional daily specials which are delicious. The accommodation throughout was very clean and comfortable. The gardens are well-tended which added to the tranquillity of the hotel. What truly elevates Elounda Heights is the staff: Natalia, Kostas, Katerina (the Cocktail Queen!), Sinead, Christina, Ritsa and every member of staff go out of their way to ensure every guest has a wonderful experience. Their warmth, friendliness and attention to detail make all the difference."
Porto Elounda Golf & Spa Resort, Six Senses Spa ★★★★★
"Porto Elounda is absolutely beautiful. Staff work hard, especially those who take care of breakfast and lunch. The girls at reception were very friendly and helpful. Our room was honestly amazing, with a private pool. The beach is also beautiful, clear water and water sports too. The pool area was very busy, especially full of children. There were plenty of restaurants, also in common with Mare and Peninsula , and they were all great. It was truly enchanting."
Elounda Akti Olous (Adults Only) ★★★★
"We’ve just arrived home after a 10 night stay at Akti Olous, and we had a lovely stay. The hotel is in a great position, right on the coast. There is a beach for people station in the hotel as well as members of the public. There are also a tonne of great restaurants that are all walking distance, and there is a supermarket literally 1 minute walk away. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast was great, loads of choice (cold meats/cheeses, pastries, hot options). The hotel is lovely, super clean in all areas and staff are so helpful. We did feel a little short changed with our room - it was really really small, and a little outdated. When booking, I was given the option to choose a sea view or standard room - we didn’t upgrade so went with the standard room. When we checked in, we’d been allocated a garden view room - except the view was of a residential garden. It did mean it limited our use of the balcony slightly as we felt like we were intruding on the residents garden. I would also recommend booking a late check out if possible - we used the courtesy room and it was not in a great state. Would’ve rather paid the extra money to keep our room."
Elounda Orama by Ghh ★★★★
"The hotel was disappointing, clearly it was not ready for the season.Whilst the staff were positive the general standards let it down. Our first room had no hot water we then moved without any help to another room which had nice terrace and seaview. The loungers unfortunately were broken and took two days to get changed. The breakfast was basic no live cooking and repetitive. Hotel needs a full overhaul, broken signs, missing lights, dirty windows etc. luckily we made our holiday out of the hotel and still enjoyed our trip."
Elounda Gulf Villas by Sandglass ★★★★★
"Enjoyed 8 nights here We had a 1 bed suite which was huge, with a lovely bathroom and separate lounge Food wise was excellent from the lovely breakfasts, daily lunches by the pool and 2 dinners in the evening Service was friendly and very helpful The villas are around an hour from airport (115 € exec transfer), then in taxis 10 mins from Elounda centre (10€), 15-20 from Plaka (15-€) and 20 mins from Ag Nic (16€) The pool was empty most days as people in pool villas stayed around the villas and others went to the beach club. On a couple of days it was a bit noisy, if family’s were playing in pool, but for the majority of time it was great !!! No probs we reserving beds due to amount of people using pool Beachclub ( located just past Domes hotel) - sea was lovely there on our visit Tip is to ask reception how many people have gone down their in the 15 min courtesy bus, as again it can be busy as only 2/3 working at bar restaurant and took us 1 hour to get lunch So in summary lovely villa, great food and we might be back in the future with our girls !!!"
Elounda Infinity Exclusive Resort & Spa - Adults Only ★★★★★
"Bien top"
Elounda Alikes Suites & Studios ★★★★
"We went many years ago to Driros beach where there was only one taverna on the beach with apartments behind across the road! They were run by a local family. Wonderful people! Are they still there? Two cousins ran the Taverna. One called Cosmos who, if I remember correctly, was a Lawyer! Their mother elative used to prepare the days veg every morning having slept on one of the settles in the Taverna bar! Such wonderful memories!!"
Elounda Sunrise Apartments ★★★
"The hotel is in a good position on the sea front it is very well maintained and clean. The room was very spacious and clean.the beds were very comfortable so we had a great night sleep and the air con was quiet and worked perfectly. The staff were very friendly. The hotel has a child play area and a small section in the pool for children. It is only a very short walk into the town square where there is plenty of restaurants."
Elounda Bay Palace, a Member of the Leading Hotels of the World ★★★★★
"This hotel is very traditional. Very open, airy and spacious. Very beautiful and stunning location We had 2 different room types. 1 Mountain View (my parents) and one pool view room. (Mine which was 2adults and 2 kids) The mountain room was very modern, standard size hotel room. The pool view room was on the pool level and right next to the pool which was great however the room was quite old fashioned and cold feeling. It was like an apt/villa room. The furnishing was very old fashioned and wasn’t modern at all to say this room was quite a lot more in price than the hotel room. It was very spacious which was great. The kids beds where a roll away bed that they bought in and a sofa which they made into a bed. (Not a pull out sofa bed) Both comfortable. The main bed was very comfortable and a good size. I feel with the space, they could have utilised it by having an actual pull out sofa bed which would have fitted both boys as a double bed instead of 2 single beds. There was a little kitchen, 2 big bathrooms which was handy. The shower and taps didn’t work great and the A/c only blew out cold even when I put the temp upto 28 degrees just to test it to warm the room up but it didn’t work. We had a large garden space which was great but the grass wasn’t looked after which isn’t a big deal but when it says luxury 5* you expect these things to be in prestige conditions. The main pool was a very good size and then another pool higher up which is a lot quieter. Both beaches were right on the doorstep with amazing Mountain View’s. The sea was AMAZING. Clear blue and the sand was really soft not 1 pebble or dark sand in sight. The hotel grounds are lovely and gives a proper Greek feel with the taverna/restaurant and pathways to the restaurants. The staff are absolutely amazing so friendly and helpful. The bar staff Maria was outstanding. She needs a medal running around and serving everyone. The restaurant on the beach ariadne was lovely which wasn’t included in the HB but was the only place to get food from in the day. The F restaurant was only serving drinks in the day and not food as advertised but maybe it’s because we went in May which will be classed as low season but again it was the school holidays. They did offer toasties on the beach. The breakfast was good had everything you needed however the buffet in the evening was poor. They had such a large space and it looked empty. They only had a few dishes out and unfortunately the guy in the meat section was definitely not a chef. He mixed the cooked meat with the raw meat and used the same utensil to touch the raw and cooked meat. The food they served was nice but not much option. The fruit was ok not a great massive selection. The desserts where great. A large selection. The entertainment was 1 lady on the piano. Lovely music but that was it. Again maybe because it was low season but it was very boring in the hotel in the evening. The kids did enjoy the games like table tennis football table w"

Elounda Garden Suites Heated Pool
"We had a lovely relaxing stay at Elounda Garden Suites. I cannot find anything negative to say about this accommodation. All the staff are very friendly and efficient. We had a warm welcome arriving around 10.30pm. Our suite was comfortable and clean and spacious. The pool area was quiet and relaxing. I particularly like that you cannot place towels and reserve beds. The breakfast and lunch snacks were excellent! The location was perfect. 5 minutes to the centre. Beach also very close. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a holiday in Elounda , Crete. Would definitely stay here again in the future. We got the bus to both neighbouring towns and took two boat trips. One to Spinalonga and the other five hours around peninsular."

Elounda Eleon Villas
"We had a fabulous week staying here. Beautifully quiet and private. We were met by Elias on arrival, and shown round the villa. We really appreciated the tray of cakes and biscuits, as well as the stocked fridge of water, wine and soft drinks. Although it was too cool to enjoy the pool, it was lovely sitting outside next to it. The villa itself was almost perfect. I say almost, as there were a few areas that needed tidying up and the shower being over the bath was a little difficult to get into. (Being a couple over 60) We would definitely stay here again."
Elounda Peninsula Luxury Resort, Six Senses Spa
"We recently had our wedding at Elounda Porto/ Peninsula, and from start to finish, the whole experience was incredible. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable — nothing was ever too much to ask, and the staff were always so accommodating not only to us but also to our wedding guests. Working in the catering industry myself, I had high expectations, but what we received here was truly next-level. The whole team is such a credit to the hotel and its owners. Everything ran so smoothly, not a single detail was missed in the planning, and the day itself felt completely exclusive to us. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that the service was kept private for us. A special thank you to Dimitra, the head of events — she was fantastic. Friendly, professional, and always in touch, she made sure everything was executed perfectly. I could honestly write paragraphs about how grateful we are to her and the whole team. The food at the Borro restaurant was outstanding — the head chef and the kitchen team truly delivered something memorable. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean with amazing accommodation, stunning views, beautiful swimming pools, a spa, golf course, and so much more. The bays with their crystal-clear, calm seawater were just the cherry on top. We are so thankful to everyone at Porto/ Peninsula for making our wedding day so magical — it’s a place we’ll always hold close to our hearts."
Elounda Mare Relais & Châteaux Hotel
"As a multi generational family spanning from 10-84 we can say it caters for all! It’s as good as the photos look!! Such a special place and the staff go above and beyond to make sure we are looked after. Shout out to Nagia on concierge who sorted most of our trips (highlight was the 80 ft yacht sail) and George who conjured up some amazing cocktails for us. Michelis at beach bar was super too."
Domes of Elounda, Autograph Collection
Aristea Hotel
"The hotel is very neat, small and cozy. In the center of the beautiful city, but in the hotel itself there is silence and peace. Only one drawback, because air conditioning costs extra..😕 The hotel also does not have its own swimming pool, but there is a beach nearby🏖️"
Naiades Village Elounda
Elounda George Studios
"Feeling one of the family Super clean apartment Communication very good ,directly answers Eleni does everything to make our holiday one will never forget Beautifull view on sea and the mountains Very quit near by center ,it was early in the season so lots of shops were closed, but enough open for shopping"
Elounda Olea Villas and Apartments
"An amazing choice for every type of traveler! Upon our arrival we had a warm welcome from the owner and a very thoughtful basket with goodies for our stay. The villas are beautiful, the beds have lovely mattresses and there is a swimming pool to relax if you choose not to visit a beach for the day. Angeliki greeted us with lots of info on the area and suggestions for tours and meals. A home away from home with a touch of luxury."
Petra Elounda Suites - Adults Only
"Beautifully designed apartment in a wonderful location. Lots of thought went into the design of this place. Great location too. Waking up to the sun rising over the island with the waves lapping was magical!"
