"An amazing choice for every type of traveler! Upon our arrival we had a warm welcome from the owner and a very thoughtful basket with goodies for our stay. The villas are beautiful, the beds have lovely mattresses and there is a swimming pool to relax if you choose not to visit a beach for the day. Angeliki greeted us with lots of info on the area and suggestions for tours and meals. A home away from home with a touch of luxury."

"Wow, just wow. Spotless clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfasts you can have sitting next to the beach if you want. Great location. Rooftop pool was lovely, but not many sunbeds. Our room was great with a fridge, balcony and great shower. No hesitation in recommending it. We'll definitely go back."

"I stayed at the Elounda George Studios for 6 nights the last week of August, following a stay in Agios Nikaloas where I was all inclusive. I can honestly say, don’t waste your money going AI, self catering is the way to go! Eleni, provides all you need at the Elounda George Studios, plenty of kitchen utensils, cleaning equipment, towels, hair dryer, shampoo, water in the fridge, tea, coffee & milk. Also, a lovely bowl of fruit. The mini mart is a 2 min walk away & provides everything for your stay & open until midnight. I had a ground floor apartment (N.o.5) which was ideal. The balcony had shade in the morning, where I could sit & enjoy my breakfast in the cool as well as ‘people watch’, with passers by, stopping to have a chat. When returning, I could relax watching the sunset behind the olive grove, so peaceful.. Elounda George Studios are ideally situated with a 5 minute walk into the town, where I visited the lovely beach a few times (sunbed & umbrella 6 euros) & opposite a great bar called (Rudis), that does fab food, music & cocktails at reasonable prices, owned by a very friendly Yorkshire guy & his wife. On other days, Eleni recommended her friend's hotel to visit where I could use their pool & have lunch (Hiona Appts), less than 10 minutes walk from EGS, not crowded, with fantastic food & sea views. Elounda George Studios are a find! So clean, accommodating with everything you need, good wifi & the helpfulness & kindness of Eleni to add which is priceless & so appreciated. It’s a gem of a place to stay & I will definitely return. Thank you Eleni!"

Aristea Hotel

"We stayed at Hotel Aristea in Elounda in June and had a really enjoyable and relaxing break overall. We booked a sea view room and it was absolutely worth it. The view across the bay each morning was stunning — sitting on the balcony watching the boats and the calm water was one of the highlights of our stay. The room itself was basic but clean and well maintained, however there was no tea making facilities, which fortunately didn't bother us. The only downside for us was the mattress, which we found a little uncomfortable. However, when we mentioned this to reception, they were very helpful and promptly provided extra bedding to make it more comfortable, which we really appreciated. It’s always reassuring when staff respond positively and try to resolve any issues quickly. Breakfast was simple but fresh and tasty. There was only a small selection to choose from but the quality of the food was good. With a little more attention to presentation it could feel more special, but it certainly set us up well for the day. The location is where this hotel truly shines. It is perfectly positioned right on the waterfront, with restaurants, cafés and shops literally on the doorstep. This was particularly important for my mother who struggles with walking, as we didn’t need taxis or long strolls — everything was within a few steps, which made the whole holiday much more relaxed and accessible for her. Overall, Hotel Aristea offers excellent value in a beautiful setting. With its unbeatable location, stunning sea views and helpful staff, we had a lovely stay and would happily return to Elounda again."
